Types of manufacturing industries

Tertiary: manufactured goods are not of much use in the industries; they need to be transported to where they can add value or even bring in monetary gain. Through the process of transportation, they can reach the retailers or even the end-users. Following the example of the timber in the manufacturing process, it is distrusted to a wood dealer who is either purchase in wholesale or retail.
Quaternary: Manufactured goods are of more use when combined to come up with a blended product. Like wood, nails, iron sheets, and windowpane come up with a house. The process requires the skills and services of the carpenter.

Examples of Industries that manufacture products

The major raw material in this industry is cotton, as it is used to make different apparel by sewing, weaving, spinning, and fitting.
