Kriya yoga has found a place for other people who seek deep, spiritual and personal relationships. It is a yoga practice that focuses on kundalini and meditation, which also teaches certain spiritual and esoteric principles. Unfortunately, like so many similar “spiritual” forces, it teaches you that your powers are beyond you - that is, you need a ‘guru’, or ‘lord’ in order to achieve your innate spirituality. Yoga has some very interesting and promising purposes. They aim to remove “barriers” and “barriers” from the mind and body. The point of view is the most interesting one here, though. Because what is an obstacle or a hindrance to one person, it may not be to another. This takes a very interesting light on the structures of power and belief systems, and highlights why it is important to keep your sovereignty in mind and actions. Kriya yoga was introduced to the West by Yogananda in the West in the 1920's. He founded the Self-Realization Fellowship as a ‘complete yoga’ program that sought to address the spiritual and physical aspects of the individual. Kriya yoga is based primarily on three other forms of yoga - karma yoga, bhakti yoga, and Jnana yoga. Karma yoga focuses on the movement of the soul inside and outside the mind. Jnana yoga is focused on wisdom, which allows for freedom of thought. Bhakti yoga is focused on love, as it allows you to adapt to everything around you. The objective was to “purify” the mind and soul, and the promoters of kriya yoga believed that they could attain it in a faster way than by following other precepts. Yoga Preparation The first step in Kriya is to 'prepare' your body, and this is one of the few ways. For many, Hatha yoga is a complete program of preparation. For others, though, they may be less consistent, but they are offered alternatives. Next in Kriya, the mind is fixed. Normal behavior is learned as part of the mental process in this study, so making sure your mind is focused properly is important. Additionally, the Kriya yoga practice pushes you to learn lifelong, hygiene, purity, and metaphysical rules. However, together they help to ‘prepare’ the mind to be ready for the latest trends, which explicitly use physical life force to “refine” the brain and nervous system. Mantras are taught the techniques of yoga. It is believed that they deepen the meditation experience. This sound technology inevitably tunes the body, like a tuning fork, as it will for any sound that is repeated and concentrated. The question is, of course, how much does the body absorb? If self-awareness is a journey, whose journey are we taking? Ours, or someone else? yoga undoubtedly meets other people. Personally, I prefer to expose things.
This Yoga was brought to international awareness by Paramahansa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi and through Yogananda's introductions of the practice to the west from 1920.
According to Yogananda the ancient Yogic text the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali contains a description of Kriya Yoga in the second chapter II.49: "Liberation can be attained by that pranayama which is accomplished by disjoining the course of inspiration and expiration."
The yoga system consists of a number of levels of pranayama, mantra, and mudra based on techniques intended to rapidly accelerate spiritual development and engender a profound state of tranquility and God-communion .Yogananda attributes his description of Yoga to his lineage of gurus, Sri Yukteswar Giri, Lahiri Mahasaya, and Mahavatar Babaji. The latter is reported to have introduced the concept as essentially identical to the Raja Yoga of Patanjali and the concept of Yoga as described in the Bhagavad Gita.
