banking is the latest in the series of technological wonders in the recent past. It involves the use of the internet for the delivery of banking products and services.

In the past, people had to approach the bank branch to withdraw or deposit money or any other help regarding bank services. But in true internet banking, any inquiry or transaction is processed online without any reference to the bank branch at any time.

Many banks provide online banking or internet banking facilities: PNB, SBI, AXIS, etc. A bank customer can perform many tasks on the internet; it may be transactional or non-transactional tasks through online banking, like viewing account balance, viewing recent transactions, download bank statements, etc. Yes, it can also pay bills, open fixed and recurring deposits, and much more.

Some banks also offer different types of gift vouchers or other offers like discounts and cashback when you make an online payment.

We can also use this facility for online shopping. Today many websites aretes present in the marklikekes Amazon, Flipkart, ShopClues, etc. provide internet banking facilities for online shopping.

Actually, internet banking is made to save your time, make convenient your task, and let you do banking on your own schedule rather than only during your local bank's working hours. You can do banking even though at night. You can open your account online. You will usually need the following items to get started with an online account.

  1. An internet connection.
  2. A device with a web browser such as a computer or a smartphone.
  3. ID proof such as pan card, Adhar card, driving license, etc.
