What is infuse mission (NASA)

As part of its INFUSE mission, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently launched a sounding rocket.

Concerning INFUSE Misssion:

From New Mexico's White Sands Missile Range, the Integral Field Ultraviolet Spectroscope Experiment (INFUSE) was launched.
It was sent into orbit to investigate the supernova remnant Cygnus Loop.
What is the goal of the INFUSE mission?

It is anticipated that the INFUSE mission will gather data on the remnant for a few minutes at a height of 150 miles (240 km).
In particular, the device will collect far-ultraviolet light coming from the Cygnus Loop. 
By observing the light released immediately before the blast wave collides with pockets of cold gas circling the galaxy, it will be able to determine how the supernova releases energy into the Milky Way.

Concerning Supernovae:
A supernova is the ultimate form of a big star's life cycle, characterized by a stunning and incredibly strong stellar explosion. For a brief period, it surpasses the brightness of entire galaxies and is among the universe's most intense and brilliant phenomena. Supernovae can be divided into two main categories:

Supernovae of Type I:

originate from a white dwarf star in a binary system exploding.
frequently caused by a companion star's matter accumulation, which causes the white dwarf to exceed its Chandrasekhar limit.

Supernovae of Type II:

happen when big stars that have a mass greater than eight times that of the Sun run out of nuclear fuel and collapse due to gravity.Causes and Triggers: A number of processes, including as the depletion of nuclear fuel in big stars, the abrupt initiation of nuclear fusion in white dwarfs, or the accretion of material onto white dwarfs in binary systems, can result in supernovae. The primary cause of type II supernovae is the star's core's incapacity to resist gravitational pull.
