what is Indian culture

Everyone lives for himself in the world, but can it be called life? The one who can give up his happiness and peace for the benefit of others, he is living the real life. Socialism is to consider the social and national interest above the interest of the individual. In socialism, not the collection but the sacrifice-sacrifice is considered important. The concept of socialism has been expressed in 'Mahabharata' as follows-

One person for the benefit of the clan, one family for the benefit of the village, the interests of the village for the benefit of the district and the earth for self-interest is said to be appropriate.

Culture of India-

Indian culture teaches renunciation, not collection. Truth, non-violence, peace, survival, forgiveness are his ideals. The one who sees all beings as himself is considered a pundit in India.

Vidya is meant to make everyone well - educated and knowledgeable and to give wealth to others. Thus, charity is the goal of Indian culture. Here, business is not done to make money by earning money, it is done to fulfill the needs of the society. In Indian culture, the power is to protect others, not to oppress.

Effects of western culture

Indian culture is losing its original form today. Western culture has corrupted it. He has adopted selfishness by moving away from the ideal of renunciation, sacrifice. In India too, now the ideal home to eat, drink and have fun.

Your own happiness is important. Money is necessary for happiness. Now money brings happiness. No need for religion. Therefore, earning money by any means, corruption, exploitation, cheating, loot etc. is not considered bad today.

Consumerism-

What is consumerism?

Today, the world economy is 'capital'. The goal of industry-business is to earn more and more money. The emphasis of this earning is not on the medium, the means can be any right or wrong, just, it should be helpful in earning money.

A consumer is a person who uses the output of the industry. He is encouraged to buy more and more produce. Instead of keeping the old ideal needs minimal, today it is necessary to have more and more needs and fulfill them in order to be happy. In such a situation, the talk of suppression of the senses and control of the mind is meaningless.

The basis of consumerism is the market, so it can also be called market. The goal of the producer is to find a market for the production of large quantities of industries. For this, it is necessary to have money in the pocket of the buyer, and it is also necessary to spend that money in the purchase of those goods which the producer has brought in the market. For this, producer companies and banks also give loans. In this way, the common man (consumer) is being exploited twice.

Liberalism and Economic Reforms

Liberalism or economic reform is a new form of capitalism. This economic policy of the government seems to be of great public interest and reference from above. To whom are we showing generosity, and in what economy are we improving? Was the economic policy of the first Prime Minister Nehru faulty before this? The reality is that we are giving the sin of economic reforms to the poor, farmers and laborers of the country.

We are opening the way for exploitation of the people by promoting privatization in every sector, agriculture, education, health. Under this policy, the public sector is being deliberately made weak and unusable and parallel to it a strong fortress of exploitation is being made in the name of privatization.

The children of the poor cannot study in the schools run under privatization, the poor patients cannot get treatment in the hospitals. Therefore, only those with money are going to benefit from this dual system. The government guarantees at least 100 days of employment. Who will tell what the poor man will feed his family for the remaining 265 days?

In this way, in the name of economic reforms and liberalism, the capitalists are being made more prosperous and the poor more poor. Now even the agriculture sector has been opened by the government for foreign capital investment. The government has made arrangements for the farmer to work on his own farm at the behest of others. The government has increased the prices of fertilizers.

The government does not have money to give subsidies to the people of India, but in the budget, there is a provision of immense amount to give concession in duty and tax to foreign companies. The government also does the work of saving the people of these foreign companies in case of an accident, as has happened in the Bhopal gas tragedy.

This new capitalist economy is the cause of exploitation of the Indian population (90 percent). This will increase the economic imbalance in the Indian society. The poor will be poorer and the rich. This policy is 100% non-Indian and is also contrary to the culture of India.

India is a democratic country. In a democracy, the interest of the people is paramount. People are 90–95 percent of the population of any country. These include farmers, laborers, employed people, small traders etc. Unless their interests are given importance, no economic policy can be effective. It is not wise to dream of prosperity from foreign debt. Gandhi was not a lunatic who favored swadeshi industries. The leaders following Gandhi should at least keep this in mind.
