Abstract

Background & Aims. The purpose of this study was to assess students' perceptions of anatomy teaching methods (oral / board comparisons with the PowerPoint PPT presentation) in the first year of medical students.

Methods. This was a side-by-side questionnaire based on the level of questions of medical students in year 1. A total of Ninty (n = 90) French medical students were included in the study. A set of fourteen questionnaires about anatomy teaching methods were used. Students were asked to complete a list of questions based on their perception of anatomy classes. Results were analyzed using MS Excel 2016.

Results. The PowerPoint PPT presentation is the most appropriate method of teaching on education for most interviewed students - 64 (71.1%), considered the most attractive - 71 (78.8%), able to clearly present the topic - 75 (83.3%) and which helps and develops extraordinary study - 84 ( 93.3%). Oral/blackboard presentations are popular, with 60 students (66.6%) having good teacher-student communication.

The conclusion. The PowerPoint PPT presentation is the best way to teach about anatomy, body, and dissection process. Blackboard teaching methods can be further used to improve drawing techniques and better communication between teachers and students.

Backgrounds and Objectives.

Studying anatomy involves many ideas that need to be memorized in a short period of time. In addition, students from the early years find it difficult to get a basic idea of ​​body composition due to the high volume and lack of ability to distinguish important details. Therefore, the learning process should be focused on the student and should help them at all times. The role of the anatomy teacher is to facilitate the learner's learning process by involving and developing the student's interest in the subject. Anatomy research is important in understanding future clinical studies and clinical practice, and [1]. Compared to effective learning methods such as (problem learning clinics or bedside clinics), teaching anatomy with effective techniques (oral / board presentations or PowerPoint PPT.

Therefore, the anatomy teacher must overcome this possible disorder and convey information to students through modern communication. Traditional methods of teaching anatomy include oral / blackboard presentations and cadaver cuts [3]. The increasing use of PowerPoint PPT presentations comes as a general response to the technological evolution we see. Nowadays, it is not only widely used in medical universities but is considered one of the most effective methods of teaching anatomy [4 - 5]. In anatomy, studies allow the integration of image text in each aspect to be stated, contributing to the understanding of structural details. In addition, students can review the presentation during each lesson, a feature that can allow for better practice of anatomy ideas. This paper aims to explore the medical student's perspective on using PowerPoint PPT presentation in anatomy instructional techniques. This was a questionnaire conducted by the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy students in Cluj - Napoca, Romania. After completing one semester of the study in the first year, medical students were invited to ask 14 questions about choosing to teach in anatomy classes. Students are randomly selected from the 1st year of French medical students, the 2017-2018 collection. The results depend on data obtained from 90 students of Questionnaire analysis was done with MS Excel 2016. PowerPoint is essential for students in education

Results. The response of students is presented in Table 1.

Discussion. PPT presentations. In the process of segmentation in learning, teachers have long been accustomed to learning everything about anatomy through often oral and executive presentations. However, due to the development of technology, modern teaching methods have emerged, including using PowerPoint. Most of the students in our sample would like to see what is in the PowerPoint PPT program in anatomy classes, and many think this is a perfect way to learn. A large percentage of readers believe that a PowerPoint PPT presentation will allow them to understand the stages of pregnancy better, emphasizing the most important aspects of organizing text, images, and the fact that anatomy is a visual study. However, you can view PowerPoint PPT presentations at home; this allows them to understand their own research better and avoid the verbal lessons used in the classroom to be remembered. - PowerPoint PPT presentations can collaboratively communicate information using graphics, animation, and video and are considered the best way to teach anatomy, on topics and topics, according to some recent studies [4-5].

Even though many of the students surveyed view PowerPoint PPT presentations as a way to use teaching anatomy, the disadvantages of not providing good teacher-student communication are: The results obtained are similar to the results of other studies [2, 6, 7]. Depending on the methods used to motivate students, the proportion is closer to the subject, so we tend to think that some of these options are more closely related to the teacher than the teaching method. It should also be noted that all the students surveyed indicated the importance of accessing the online course, which you can find in a PowerPoint PPT presentation. The importance of applying technical methods is also present in other works [3-4].

Anatomy can be difficult to beat before they can have a general view of the entire body. Students will be able to take tests to learn as many ideas as possible in the first lesson, but memorizing them without basic knowledge of anatomy and the combination and interaction of visual information is not a good idea. Students must understand all the presented conceptual ideas, not Instagram, "the essence" of the information. The teacher must adapt the training to the present and take into account modern needs and requirements.

Conclusions: Overall, - PowerPoint PPT presentation is a good method or technique for Whiteboard learning, and methodologies could be used in addition to improving drawing techniques, as well as for better communication between teachers and students.
