How to maintain a healthy body?

Everyone knows that eating nutritious food, exercising, and getting plenty of rest is key to maintaining good health. However, that may seem like an impossible task while you are in college. Often, sweets, fast food, caffeine, and alcohol go beyond healthy options if you are in the company of friends or are stressed out from coursework. Here are some tips to keep you healthy despite your college routine.

Nutrition
Eat a variety of rich foods. Your body actually needs more than 40 nutrients for good health, and there is no source of them. Your daily food choices should include a balance of good carbs, proteins, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. See the USDA food guide at mypyramid.gov.

Eat balanced portions. When you keep your size sizes balanced and reasonable, it is easier to eat what you want and to keep a healthy and healthy diet. What is the middle part? A medium-sized piece of fruit is used for one. A cup of pasta is the equivalent of 2 servings, and one pint of ice cream contains 4 servings.

DON'T skip food. Skipping meals can lead to uncontrolled hunger and often lead to overeating. A light snack between regular meals can help if you are stressed over time. Just make sure you have at least two balanced diets.

DO NOT take away certain foods. Because our bodies need various nutrients, it is a bad idea to eliminate all the salt, fat, and sugar from our diet unless prescribed by a doctor. Choosing healthy options such as skim or low-fat milk will help you maintain a healthy diet.

Food is neither good nor bad. It’s all about assignment management!

Drink water! Stay away from cookies and other sugary sodas, which can pack 17 teaspoons of sugar with a 20oz drink! Sugar is a source of empty calories that can use vitamins and minerals important for your body. Water not only helps to circulate water, but it also helps circulate blood, remove toxins from our bodies and regulate body temperature.

Avoid too much caffeine. Caffeine is an addictive drug that can affect your sleep and concentration while also affecting bodily functions such as muscle function and cleansing of waste products.

Physical management and stress intensity

Be diligent

Use the stairs instead of the elevator.
Get at least 30 minutes of work each day. If the idea of sweating in the gym for hours on end doesn’t sound appealing to you, then head out to the main Frisbee game. Or, try walking or running. The important thing is to go!
Relax

Keep yourself organized to eliminate unnecessary stress and anxiety.
Turn off the TV and listen to music.
Make time every day, even if it's only 15 minutes, for rest and demonstration.
Sleep well.
Allow at least 30 minutes of peaceful relaxation before bed at night, e.g., it is read.
Resist the temptation to use sleeping pills when you are under pressure to write papers, study, etc.
Sleeping is not a waste of time! It is just as important and necessary as diet and exercise.

Public health
Participate and meet people in a beautiful place. Often college preparation can be difficult, especially when students leave a support system they do not know for the rest of their lives. Whether it is participating in a sports team or Rhodes Student Government, joining a religious organization, volunteering in a soup kitchen, or helping in some other way, helping others helps us.
