*What is good for eyes?*

*Improve eye health and prevent eye disease:*

      Your cholesterol levels and decreasing your saturated fat intake are not really big medical news that hearing a highly elevated level amount of cholesterol and saturated fat in the diet isn't good for you. But it is certainly not good for the eyes; either some studies suggest that having elevated amounts of cholesterol and eating high amounts of saturated fats contribute to the development of age-related eye disease. Such as macular degeneration also have higher amounts of these levels in your bloodstream, which also contributes to other diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure.          Retinopathy from high blood pressure that can hurt the eye and actual cholesterol plaques that get released from this cholesterol getting stuck in your arteries can actually get all the way up to the eye and cause a stroke within the eye that we call a Hollenhorst plaque. That means decreasing the number of foods in your diet with elevated amounts of bad fats, such as fast food or processed, such as milk, butter, and cheese, could not just be beneficial for your whole body and heart. Health and the eyes are actually compounded again by having a decreased body mass index. Decrease the bad fats in your diet tip to increase the good fats in your diet, namely Omega - 3 fatty acids; if you do have not heard Omega - 3 fatty acids are considered the good fats that we find in your diet, some natural food sources. Such as oily fish like salmon as well as from some vegetable sources, including nuts.

Fish

Ideally, fish should be incorporated into the daily diet at least two to three times a week.

Almonds
      As the shape of this nut goes, which resembles our eyes, one can understand that almonds are a good addition to our diet for healthy eyes. When we talk about being good for the eyes about almonds, the most important nutrient is vitamin E. It's the exceptional quality of this vitamin in the almonds that help guard our eyes against age-related degeneration and cataracts.

 

Milk and Milk Products
      One of the richest sources of vitamin A and zinc, dairy products are essential in your diet for maintaining eye health. As mentioned above, vitamin A is good for the cornea; whereas, zinc is good for the retina. Milk and Milk Products are very healthy for the eyes and ensure complete nutritional care for healthy eyes.

Oranges
      Another essential food item to be had in the diet for healthy eyes is vitamin C. Mainly found in fresh fruits and vegetables; this vitamin takes care of the eyes' blood vessels. One of the richest sources of vitamin C is orange.

 

Carrots
     Rich in vitamin A and beta carotene, carrots make for an excellent food item in the diet for your eyes. Since the nutrition from carrots helps protect the eyes' surface, it thus helps prevent eye infections and other serious eye conditions.

Kale
  This superfood kale proves its worth when it comes to the nutritional care for the eyes too. The best feature of the kale is the extensive number of minerals and vitamins that it contains. Still, when it comes to the eyes, antioxidants like zeaxanthin and lutein present in the kale provide maximum benefit for the health of your eyes.
