The Israeli – Palestinian conflict is one of the world's most continuing conflicts, beginning in the mid-20th century. At least 11 people have been killed after Israeli forces hit targets in Gaza, Palestinian health officers said on Friday.

It's unclear how important control Hamas has over Islamic Jihad, and Israel holds Hamas responsible for all attacks expiring from Gaza.
