Sugar -> pyruvate + energy -> ethanol + CO2 + energy.

 

When there is a scarcity of oxygen in our muscle cells, the pyruvate break during a special pathway. Glucose (6-carbon molecule) breaks down into a pyruvate (3-carbon molecule) and thus the pyruvate is converted into acid (3-carbon molecule) and released for energy.
Sugar -> pyruvate + energy -> acid + energy.

The energy released during respiration is instantly used to bind another molecule called ATP.

ATP is made from ADP and phosphate with the help of energy released during respiration.

 

ATP is weakened by a gaggle amount of energy and triggers the end-of-life reaction during a cell.
