What is diabetes and how to prevent it

Introduction

A person can have diabetes when the pancreas cannot secrete the essential hormone that produces insulin. Insulin maintains normal blood glucose levels. Low insulin means that the level of glucose, which is the sugar in the blood, can become high and lead to diabetes.

  4. Option for the person to take medicine and take help of doctor. Every diabetic patient with type 1 and type 2 diabetes can take insulin daily to maintain the insulin production of the pancreas. There's also the new insulin pump that continuously delivers much-needed insulin. There are also new drugs that treat diabetes such as synthetic human insulin, sulfonylurea drugs, biguanides, thiazolidinediones, meglitinides, alpha-glucosidase, and other drug combinations.

Prevention of diabetes

Diabetes can be prevented with proper awareness and knowledge about this disease. The important thing is that one should have a healthy diet and regular exercise for a healthy body. Helping yourself to overcome this disease requires responsibility and discipline.
