According to Ayurveda, our body is made up of five elements – earth, air, water, sky and fire.

 Such as – 1) water

  Whenever we take a bath, even if it is just for a short time, we forget our tensions and feel fresh. Even when you feel very troubled, just washing your face with water will provide relief to a great extent. In depression, you don't feel like taking bath, you feel like taking bath all day, but you should never miss bath. If possible,  take a bath twice a day.

 

 2) Earth –

 To connect with the earth element, you connect with nature. Just like a child becomes happy playing with clay, similarly you can also use this element. You can do gardening, walk barefoot on soil or grass.

 

 3) Fire –

 According to research, depression increases due to lack of sunlight in winter, hence sit in the sun for 5 to 10 minutes every day. You can also do Surya salutation.

 

 4) Wind & Sky –

 If you are sitting alone in the room, it is better to go out to the garden and take a deep breath in the open air. If such a day is started early in the morning, the mind remains stable throughout the day. If you don't feel like getting up in the morning, you can do this in the evening also.

 Meditation is also a good solution. Focusing on your breathing for 5 to 10 minutes brings a lot of peace. Music also changes the mood instantly, soothing instrumental music has a positive effect on the mind.

Through these small things we get connected to the five elements of which our body is made.

 Just as our body gets nutrition by eating food, similarly what we see, hear, read, all that is nutrition for our brain. Therefore, if we see something that inspires or motivates us, then similar thoughts come to our mind.

 You can create a routine and learn new things in life. You can start this by waking up early, do body massage, which increases blood circulation. Play for a while, sweat a little, which releases good hormones in the body.

  If there is anything in your mind then write it on some paper and burn it, or stand in front of the mirror and talk to yourself, your mind will become lighter.

 It is not necessary that you do it all, but do as much as you can, start with one thing first. When you look back after a few months, you will notice many positive changes in yourself.
