4. Why are cryptocurrencies so popular?
People invest in cryptocurrencies for a variety of reasons. Here are some of the most popular:
Proponents of cryptocurrencies view cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as the currency of the future and are rushing to buy them now, perhaps before they become more valuable.
Some proponents favor the fact that cryptocurrency eliminates major banks from managing money, as over time these banks tend to lower their interest rates on inflation.
Some proponents like cryptocurrencies technology, called blockchain, because it is a system dedicated to processing and recording and can be much more secure than traditional payment systems.
Some speculators prefer cryptocurrensets because they go up in value and have no interest in long-term cash flow as a way to transfer money.

5. Are cryptocurrencies a good investment?
Cryptocurrencies may increase in value, but many investors see them as just speculation, not real investment. The reason? Like real currencies, cryptocurrencies do not produce money, so in order to make a profit, someone has to pay more than you have already made.
This is the so-called "great fool" of investment theory. Compare that with a well-managed business, which increases its value over time by increasing profits and operating cash flows.
"For those who see cryptocurrencies like bitcoin as a future currency, it should be noted that the currency needs to be stable."
Some of the highlights of the investment community have advised potential investors to withdraw from them. Most notably, the famous investor Warren Buffett compared Bitcoin to paper checks: “It is a very effective way to transfer money and you can do it anonymously with all that. A check is a way to transfer money as well. Are the checks more expensive? Because they can transfer money? "

For those who see cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as a future currency, it should be noted that the currency needs to be stable so that traders and buyers can determine what the fair value of the asset is. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have stabilized for much of their history. For example, when Bitcoin traded near $ 20,000 in December 2017, its value plummeted to about $ 3,200 a year later. In December 2020, it was trading records again.
This price fluctuations create confusion. If bitcoins could have a much bigger value in the future, people are less likely to use and distribute them today, making them less effective as a currency. Why waste bitcoin if it can cost three times as much next year?
