The 20th century brought a revolution in the field of communication. We are well aware of the wonders of science, new inventions keep happening every day. The biggest change has been brought in the field of communication, a machine by which multiplication, division, addition, subtraction of complex numbers can be done in micro seconds. This machine is a computer. Big things started happening so quickly with the computer, which no one could have imagined. Science is nothing less than a blessing in modern life. Until recently, the computer was seen as a wonderful machine, no one thought that the development of the computer would be so fast, and the human race would develop in this way through the computer. A few years ago this machine came in the form of personal computer and, today, it has become a part of our life with every need of home office.
What is the definition of computer?
The miracle of science has made a big change in the field of information and communication through mobile, computer and internet. Read to know the essay on the miracle of science. Through this, many problems of mankind have been solved. Computer is being used in our country for almost two decades, through this the country of India has taken a long leap in the field of development. We can do many things through computer. Big data can be saved in this small machine, office work is done easily, you can talk to anyone around the world through internet, you can go shopping to Collect information, apart from this. There are many other things that the computer does.
Computer History –
The word computer first appeared in 1613, which means calculation. In the early 19th century, Charles Babbage built the first computer, he designed the analytical engine, and prepared the basic framework of the computer. The creation of the computer has been carried forward on this framework. By the way, the development of computers has been done in three generations, each generation was of a certain period. After every generation of development we have got a better, newer computer.
• Between 1937-1946 – In 1937, the first digital computer was built by Dr. John V. Atnasoff and Clifford Berry. It was named the Atnasoff Berry computer (ABC). In 1943, this electronic computer was named Colossus, which was made for the military. Work continued on this till 1946 and Digital Computer and Numerical Integrator Computer (ENI AC) were made. It is said that the weight of this computer was 30 tons, in which 18 thousand vacuum tubes were used for processing. Computers of this time were able to do only one thing at a time, as well as there was no operating system in it.
• Between 1947 -1962 – Transistor was used in place of vacuum tube in computers of this time, which was more reliable. For the first time in 1951, the computer was put in front of the public, and its use was made public. In 1953, IBM made the 650 and 700 series computers. About 100 types of programming languages were developed in the computer of this time, as well as memory and operating system in it. There were tapes, discs for storage, as well as the printer was connected to the computer.
• 1963 - AAJ Talk - Integrated circuits form the third generation of computers. With this origin, the size of the computer became smaller, it became more powerful and reliable, with this now people could do many things in the computer at a time. MS-DOS was created in 1980. In 1981, IBM brought personal computers for home and office in front of everyone. Three years later, Apple manufactured the Mac computer and in the 90s the computer got the Windows operating system.
Today computer is progressing day by day, many programming languages have come, through which work is done. Now laptops have come in place of computers, which are smaller and less in weight, have OS, battery all in it. Computers were kept in any corner of the house, office, it was difficult to carry them here and there, but laptops
