What is Combat Archery

Archery tag is now becoming a whole new level of adventure games along with a numerous health benefits as well as unlimited fun. The rules of the game are simple as that of a dodgeball that is, like dodgeball it also played as two teams or groups; who facing each other in a battlefield. The battlefield consists of two activity zones, isolated by a neutral zone in between. Each team consists of 5 members each or 4 members each depending on the arena size, it would always better if the participants are more. Each team side has obstacles like inflatables or large objects which can be used them to hide against the upcoming arrows. So as said earlier there is a neutral layer in between the zones, in this zone firing of arrows is not allowed and in this zone players cannot hide or stay for longer which can be punishable by the referee. So the game play can be usually played on a time clock varies from 15-20 for each round and side change is preferable after each round. So the game play is at first the arrows are placed at the neutral zone and as the referee whistles members of both team has to be rushed towards the neutral zone to grab as much as arrows as possible and come back to their respective playing zone and starts shooting the arrows. The safety gears such as masks and  protective gear must be worn all the time during game play. Now we can continue with the rules of the combat archery, the player is eliminated when he got hit by an arrow and can be revived again when someone in the team catches the arrow in the midway. Generally a 5 point foam target will be provided for each team, each team will concentrate either to get this target fully or eliminate the opposite team members by hitting the arrows, the targets usually a pop out form type so that when an arrow strikes on this one the target will pop out and resulting in accumulation of points. So during the end of time limit, the winning team can be decided either by points or by the number of people standing without eliminating. Most of the people will be thinking that if the arrow hits it will get hurt or not, the answer is not always, the arrows are moderately light weighted and fixed with foam at the tip of the arrow guarantee they don't cause any injury or getting hurt. As said earlier, safety gears are to be worn all the time in the arena. More to it, the game is usually conducted under the influence of a referee who can monitor thoroughly during the entire game time in order to find out foul playing or removing the safety gears during the game time, thus ensuring a safe play as well as fair game. Thus, anyone who can draw a bow can play the action fun filled game with a group of friends.
