WHAT IS CHEMICAL PRESENCE IN CHILLI?

The chemical compound * capsaicin (8-methyl-N-vanillyl-6-nonenamide) * is an active ingredient in peppers, a plant of the genus Capsicum. It is a nuisance to mammals, including humans, and can cause burns to any tissue that comes in contact with it.

 

             As a result, when we or any other animal eat peppers, it irritates the tongue.

 

Capsaicin is a chemical compound that was first isolated from the crystalline pepper in 1878. Shortly thereafter, capsaicin was discovered to cause inflammation of the mucous membranes. In addition, it increases the production of stomach acid and stimulates nerve endings in the skin. The chemical structure of capsaicin was partially clarified in 1919, and in 1930 capsaicin was synthesized chemically. In 1961, substances such as capsaicin were isolated from the pepper by Japanese pharmacists, who labeled them capsaicin.

 

Health Benefits of Capsaicin: -

Almost everyone knows what capsaicin is, though perhaps not by name. It is a chemical in pepper that gives you a famous heat. This heat makes it ideal for flavoring dishes, as well as providing a list of treatments. For nearly, 7000 years in Mexico, capsaicin pepper has been known to contain vitamins and minerals, as well as its antibacterial and anticancer properties.

 

 Capsaicin is a key ingredient in many therapeutic oils, gels, and patches used to relieve pain. It works with a receptor called TRPV1, which is found in the brain, peripheral arteries, bladder, blood vessels, and more. As this receptor is widely distributed throughout the body, there are many health benefits of capsaicin that have not been studied to date.

 

 Used: -

Capsaicin is used to help relieve some type of pain known as neuralgia (shooting or burning pain in the arteries). Capsaicin is also used to help relieve minor pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis or muscle sprains and complications. The Queen® patch is also used to treat neurological pain caused by diabetes peripheral neuropathy in the feet. It will not cure any of these conditions.

Capsaicin is a compound found in peppers that gives them a popular hot and bitter kick. This combination is well known for its pain-relieving properties. It works by touching a neurotransmitter that transmits pain signals to the brain.

 

Purpose:

Capsaicin, an active pungent for food, is an endogenous ligand of the transient receptor that can be a channel for cation vanilla subfamily member 1 (TRPV1). Experimental data show that TRPV1 activity leads to vasodilation, fluid retention and potentially lower blood pressure (BP) effects. Recent data have found an association between the consumption of spicy foods and improved outcomes, including heart disease. Capsaicin-induced BP lowering may explain this protective effect. We therefore investigated the BP effects of TRPV1 activation by capsaicin in healthy subjects.

 

Muscle pain: -

The use of capsaicin cream for back pain and sprains has been extensively studied. Capsaicin injections for hypermnesia, or increased pain sensitivity, have also been shown to be an effective way to reduce deep muscle pain.
