Terrible fire on April 4, 2023:

Firefighters and army soldiers battled a fire that broke out early Tuesday in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, destroying 5,000 shops and injuring several firefighters.

According to Hardin Lang of Refugees International, it will be difficult to move the estimated 12,000 victims of the fire under the existing congested conditions of the "megacamp".

It would be difficult to provide basic services to those people in other parts of the camp as many facilities, including schools and health centres, were destroyed.

In essence, he told the BBC that this is an acute outbreak in an already chronically very fragile and dangerously prepared population. The camps are prone to fires because they are overcrowded and dirty.

Home to the country's renowned fabric markets, the Bangabazar district houses about 3,000 shops in the complex. The fire started early in the morning before opening and quickly spread to nearby shops.

There have been many injuries, but no casualties have been reported so far. Authorities are still investigating the source of the fire.

WORKING AND OCCUPATIONAL INJURIES IN THE HORRIBLE ACCIDENT:

Most traders expressed sadness and helplessness.

One business owner claimed that he borrowed 1.5 million taka ($14,100) to buy eid clothes. He has nothing left. 

As bystanders prevented them from approaching the fire, shop owner Akter Hossain and two of his employees were seen trying to remove clothing inventory from their burning shop. He recently spent about $12,500 to buy new clothes in time for Eid. All of them are dust now. 

How will they ever get over this loss?

It's is difficult to describe about a huge loss of traders, merchants and labours that how fulfill this and overcome the loss because nothing remains for them. Because after few days Ramzan, a Muslim big event named Eid. ul. Fitr had be done. Many Sellers are busy to sell their branded dresses for men, women, children etc. They also want to sold their items so that could earn more. Like other people, they could celebrate Eid. Ul. Fitr with their family. That's why now a days, in  all markets continuously buy and sell items. But suddenly marketers faced a huge loss with fire in clothes shops. They all of them so worried and dishurt due to this critical situation. 

Authorities in Bangladesh are investigating what started a major fire that has left 12,000 Rohingya refugees homeless.

No injuries were reported, but officials said the fire destroyed 2,000 shelters on Sunday after it quickly spread through cooking bottles.

Authorities are investigating whether the fire was set intentionally. According to local media, one person was detained.
