Categories of Intelligence

Intelligence can be described as a combined ability to acquire knowledge and apply it with a set of particular skills. In the past, an intelligent person was supposed to be an all-rounder and an expert in all walks of life, if someone was not able to excel in all kinds of fields he/she was considered to be dull-minded. Now that the perspectives on intelligence have been changed, so is the philosophy. As per the latest research in Psychology and human behaviors, it is revealed that there are multiple types of Intelligence. A person, who is a master of one type of skill, wouldn’t necessarily be sharp-minded and useful in other fields.
