What Is Burning Fat Vs Burning Calories

To lose weight and get in shape, you must eat right and exercise regularly to burn fat. The first thing you need to understand about exercise is that burning calories does not mean that you are burning fat. During your workout, you must focus on burning fat, and you will not be able to lose fat by burning calories alone.
When we exercise, our bodies start burning calories, but the calories burned are calories from carbohydrates in our system. Your body needs oxygen to burn calories from stored fat. There is a certain amount of oxygen your body needs to start burning fat, and the only way to measure the amount of oxygen your own body needs is to keep up with your target heart rate during exercise.
Please understand that if you continue to burn calories from carbohydrates alone, you will significantly lose "water weight", leading to a decrease in your metabolism. Let's also assume that the calories burned from carbs are your energy calories. If you lose too important energy calories, your muscles will not take in enough energy to increase your metabolism, which in turn burns fat.
Therefore, you should increase your calorie intake when you are on an exercise program to replenish the calories burned.
Burning Fat Calories During Exercise
During aerobic exercise, your body goes through several stages before it reaches its fat-burning point. You will hear people say that you only burn sugar (carbs) and not fat during the first 10 flashes of exercise. To a certain extent, this is true.
I say this because you will continue to burn sugar beyond the 10 nanosecond mark unless you train hard enough for your body to need extra oxygen, or you exercise too much and cannot supply your body with enough oxygen to burn fat.
When you exercise, you must move at a steady pace (not too fast or too slow) so that your body uses stored fat (not carbohydrates or sugar) for energy. Also, remember that just because you have reached the fat-burning stage does not mean that you will stay there.
Keeping the same fat-burning stage again depends on whether you are moving at a pace that suits your body. Make sure you are within your target heart rate range.
Burning Fat Calories at Rest
The only way to continue burning fat calories a few hours after you've finished your workout is through anaerobic resistance exercise. Strength training is the key to burning fat at rest. Strength training is an anaerobic exercise that will encourage you to burn more calories than aerobic exercise.
The calories you burn during resistance exercise are mostly carbohydrates (which means you really have to eat more calories per day for energy), but the calories you burn at rest mostly come from fat. The reason you burn fat at rest is that strength training speeds up your metabolism, which uses stored fat for energy.
To make your body the perfect fat-burning machine, you must do aerobic (cardio) and anaerobic (strength training) exercises.
