Fire safety management is concerned with minimizing the fire risk to life, property, business continuity and the environment throughout the life of a building. This course emphases the development of management skills for fire safety as it relates to the context of the built environment. You will play a role in the management and leadership of teams involved in the provision of a safe working environment and in the management of fire safety provision in organizations. Approved by the government university. This enables cadets to become safety officer / engineers on industries and factories.
University examination & when will I get certification?
The University examinations will be held every 6 month for each academic year. Also, each subject exam duration for three hours. Successful candidates are provided certificates within 30 days from the announcement of result. Certificate & Marks will be issued from Alagappa university. Separate certificates will be issued to candidates who passed with distinction and first class.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
A pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 60% aggregate in Math, Physics and Chemistry group and at least 50% marks in English.
The candidate who have studied three years Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline after SSLC / Two years Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline after HSC from a recognized institution (Govt.) are eligible to get Direct Admission in second year of B.Sc. under lateral scheme.
The candidate who have obtained a Three years Diploma in Fire & Industrial safety Engineering are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Sc., Under lateral scheme.
