Aryans name was given to the people who " spoke arch and indo-European language." in Aryan culture, they have Vedas and Vedic periods.

INTRODUCTION:

 According to Bala Gangadhar, Tilak Aryans came from the "Arctic region." According to Dayananda Saraswathi, Aryans came from "Tibet." A.C Das, Sampurnananda and D.S. Trivedi said that the birthplace of Aryans was "Sapta Sindu." Max Muller and Marshal noted the home of Aryans was "Central Asia."

 According to easy inspection, "central Asia"  was the birthplace of Aryans. Penca said that the home of Aryans was "Germany." J.D. Merlan said the birthplace of Aryans was "Siberia" Garden Child said the birthplace of Aryans was South China. Gail said the home of Aryans was Austria-Hungary.

Vedas are the primary sources for Aryans Culture. 

 

 Vedas are four:                                                                                        

 1. Rig-Veda  2. Yajur Veda  3. Sama Veda and 4.  Atharvana Veda 

Vedic Culture was divided into two parts, i.e., 1. Early Vedic Culture 2, Later Vedic Culture 

 

EARLY VEDIC CULTURE:

 Rig-Veda was composed during this period, so it is called Rig -Veda Culture. Rig -Veda was the first treatise in India. Rig Veda means  "Veda of Praising." Rig-Veda is called the first testament of humans. Rigveda is divided into 10 Mandal» (chapters). Rig-Veda contains 1028 slokas or hymns.

 

 Gayathri mantra was discussed in the third mandala, and Viswamitra wrote it. The Goddess Savithri was worshipped in it. It is followed at the time of Suryanamaskara. Dasaragnaya war or ten king's war was described in the seventh mandala. Father was the head of the family. The patriarchal system prevailed during this period. Father was called Kelapa. Gramin was the head of the village. Visapati was the head of the town.

 

Politics:

 Rajan was the head of Jana or tribe. To control Rajan, Aryans maintained political Assemblies. That is Sabha, Samiti, Vidhata and Gana. In Sabha, The leaders of the families were the members. All the people in the tribe were members of Samithi, and they elected the king. Vidhata will safeguard the Justice and other Religious matters' There were priests and military commanders to assist the king. The priest had the authority over the king. Bharata clan ruler Sudha's replaced Viswamitra with Vasista as a priest.

 

 Viswamita formed a group of 10 kings under the leadership of "Purukutsta" and waged a war on Sudha's, on the bank of Raavi or Parshuni.

Sudha got victory over ten kings. So these warts are called DasaragnyWarar or War of 10 Kings.

The caste system was first discussed in Purshasuktham in the 10th Mandal of Rig Veda. It explained that

Brahmins emerged from the Head, Kshatriya from the shoulders, Vysyas from the thighs, and Sudras from the feet of Prajapati.

 

Sankyayanudu wrote Itareyai Brahmåneyam in 1000 B .C. related to Rig-Veda

Sabha is mentioned eight times in Rigveda.

Samiti is mentioned 9 times in Rigveda. As mentioned eight times in Rigveda.

 

LIFESTYLE:

Aryans settled down in the Sapta Sindhu region in this period.

Sapta Sindhu means the Indus River, its five tributaries, and Saraswathi.; They had rural culture.

•Cattle treated as wealth; the wars that took place for cattle were called "Gavisti" or "search of cattle."

The primary duty of the king was the protection of the cattle and the people.

Yagnas and Yagas started in Rig Vedic period. The caste system also began in this period.

 

 Religion:

Varuna is the main god of Aryans and punishes the people who make mistakes. His titles were "Asuramardani and Rita".he is the god of water and love.

Indra - the god of war and thé god of rain, god of weather, 250hymns dedicated to Lord Indra and title Purandara and Apusujith.

Ägni - god of fire. 200 slokas dedicated to Agni. Agni is the mediator between people and god.

Aryans worshipped Gods like Soma and Sura.

The Goddess in this period was Savitri, Adithi, and Ushas.

Savitri, the Goddess of the Sunlight, Usha Was the Goddess of raising sun.

Maruthi, the Goddess of cyclones. And thunders.

-The king collected the Bali tax from the people.
