Many business leaders have told me that board meetings focus on how they can use ChatGPT-style technology in their business as soon as possible.
A few weeks ago I met with the director of a large UK company. He put a customer's complaint text into ChatGPT, entered some rules into ChatGPT on the spot, and then asked the AI chatbots to respond to the complaint according to those rules.
In about a minute, ChatGPT returned a response that could be accepted without any coding.
I was told that all of these results were 85% correct. A person sitting in a call center might have produced better results, but the response would have cost far less than the staff provided by ChatGPT.
But the good news is that the 15 percent that survives the GPT Chat will require focused staff.
But this technology is a threat to jobs.
If today's AI models aren't as capable as intelligent adults, the day is not far off when they will be, because they are getting powerful. Technological advances are happening faster than expected and moving towards the point where it will be profitable to adopt them.

The bad news is that this change can happen so fast that employees don't have time to adjust, which can lead to social and economic crises. Could we see call centers and creative studios in the 2020s, what happened in the coal mines of the 1980s?
Some tech experts say that "you may not be replaced by artificial intelligence, but you can be replaced by someone who knows how to use artificial intelligence."
They used to say that this is why everyone should learn to code, but that advice may not be there anymore.
