AMAZON Listing
Any product that we want to sell, we upload its details on AMAZON seller center in the form of listing. It contains Title, Images, Search Term Keywords (backend), Bullet Points and Description.
WE CAN DO LISTING WITH OR WITHOUT VARIATIONS.
For example, if we are selling a t-shirt, that shall be our one listing. If we want to add variations, we can either do separate listings for each variation or we can add all variations in one listing as well.
IF WE DELETE ONE LISTING BY MISTAKE, CAN WE RECOVER IT OR NOT?
When we make listing on AMAZON, it asks for UPC or EAN for that. When we provide that, AMAZON issues ASIN for that specific listing.
So if we delete listing mistakenly, all we need to do is just start making new listing and provide that product’s ASIN instead of UPR or EAN. AMAZON shall automatically show that listing which was deleted before.
IS LISTING TRANSFERABLE? HOW CAN WE SHOW OUR LISTING ON ANY OTHER ACCOUNT?
If you want to sell your listing, you simply ask other person to Me-too that listing. It depends on you either you complain AMAZON about that me-too or not. That seller shall join your listing as second seller.
The next inventory will go into second seller account. As soon as you get out of stock, listing will automatically transfer to the second seller. This is how you can transfer or sell your listing.
What is BSR?
Best Selling Rank
Amazon gives your product a number/a rank upon sales velocity of that product.
If a product in specific category gets maximum sales, then its BSR shall be 1. The second best selling product shall be given BSR 2 and so on.
It directly shows the comparison of your product with other sellers’ products. More the sales, the lesser the BSR and vice versa.
Each category has its own BSR range. It is shown in product details of each listing/product.
To check upon how much sales, Amazon gives which BSR. Simply go to Jungle Scout Sales Estimator (which is totally free), put BSR, select marketplace and category. Average monthly sales will be shown.
Authenticator App for OTP – Amazon Seller Central
As we all know, we need OTP to login into Seller Central Account on Amazon. If this is the parent account, then OTP shall come to the provided contact number.
But let’s say, we are talking about US account and we have a child have access of that parent account in Pakistan. When someone tries to access child account, OTP will be sent to Parent account holder’s contact number. Due to difference in time zones, it’ll be very hectic to get that OTP sometimes.
Then what is The Solution?
The solution is Authenticator App.
From main account: Go to Login Settings → Two-Step Verification (2SV) Settings → Edit → Preferred Method → Add New App
Then simply download Google Authenticator App from your mobile phone. Scan bar code from Laptop Screen. An OTP shall be generated on mobile. Put that OTP into your laptop from where you scanned bar code. Then click Verify OTP and Continue.
Then whenever you access your child account, OTP shall be generated on Authenticator App.
