What is AI humanoid robots and is dangerous to world ?
Dates of note: 1950: Alan Turing published “Computer Machinery and Intelligence” which proposed a test of machine intelligence called The Imitation Game. 1952: A computer scientist named Arthur Samuel developed a program to play checkers, which is the first to ever learn the game independently. There are a myriad of risks to do with AI that we deal with in our lives today. Not every AI risk is as big and worrisome as killer robots or sentient AI. Some of the biggest risks today include things like consumer privacy, biased programming, danger to humans, and unclear legal regulation.
Regardless, a nuclear bomb can kill millions without any consciousness whatsoever. In the same way, AI could kill millions with zero consciousness, in a myriad ways, including potentially use of nuclear bombs either directly (much less likely) or through manipulated human intermediaries (more likely).
Autonomous weapons can also accelerate the use of force beyond human control. While speed might be advantageous to militaries in some circumstances, when uncontrolled it risks escalating conflicts in an aggravating humanitarian needs.
A disadvantage of AI in creativity is the potential lack of originality and authenticity in AI-generated creative works. While AI systems can mimic existing styles and patterns, there is an ongoing debate about whether AI can truly possess creativity in the same sense as humans. Among the other concerns: AI systems, left unchecked, can spread disinformation, allow companies to hoard users personal data without their knowledge, exhibit discriminatory bias or cede countless human jobs to machines. The Artificial Intelligence Problems include Safety, Trust, Computation Power, Job Loss concerns, etc.
Fear of computers, artificial intelligence, robots, and other comparable technologies is known as techno fear. When confronted with various forms of AI, people who suffer from techno fear experience acute anxiety, a raised heart rate, perspiration, nausea, and other unpleasant sensations. Whether to ban AI is a debatable question that tremendously can differ from person to person based on their perception. Industry experts, policymakers, and other regulatory bodies are concerned about the potential risks and threats inherent to artificial intelligence and its application.
Rooks basilisk is a thought experiment which states that an otherwise benevolent artificial superintelligence (AI) in the future would be incentivized to create a virtual reality simulation to torture anyone who knew of its potential existence but did not directly contribute to its advancement or development. As with any technology, it can be used for good or for bad. The technology itself is not going to break bad on its own. AI is just like every other technology - it is just a tool that can be used for good or evil. The use of robotics (or other forms of intelligent agents) in warfare has existed since WW2. Many of these early robots (such as the US's 'Aphrodite' drones or the Soviet's telemarks) were either ineffective or only useful for specialized operations.
As well as televised competitions, smaller robot combat events are staged for live audiences, such as those organized by the Robot Fighting League. Robot builders are generally hobbyists, and the complexity and cost of their machines can vary substantially.
