Blogs:
A blog is a kind of website. The term blog is shortened from a weblog. A diary original on the web is known as a weblog. The blog owner writes on the blog and is known as a blogger or the author of the blog. The activity of updating writing for a Blog is called blogging.
The blogger rights periodically about a certain topic of their choosing:-
•Personal experiences
•Thoughts
•Hobbies
•Political aspirations, etc.
The blogger can provide links to another website that they think might interest the updates put on the block by the blogger are called block posts. Block is only has a few features that are useful for the blogger and the readers.

Types of blogs:
The web today has millions upon millions of blogs. There are blogs maintained by individuals, their blogs maintained by companies or organizations on the web, and blogs dedicated to factual information like news.
But one thing is common they tend to fall into this category of blogs:-
I) PERSONAL BLOG:
This is the most common type of blog. Maximum numbers of blogs on the internet belong to this category. After all, blogging started as a way of creating an online diary. A typical blogger may be kin on posting stories about their interests, such as fishing or dancing or collecting something.
II) NEWS AND VIEWS:
This type of blocked content factual stories about news and maintained by journalists. News and television companies such as BBC have many professional journalists who post stories and views about the latest events. Visitors can add their own opinions as well.
III) COMPANY BLOGS:
Many companies run blogs to let their customers and clients know what is going on in the company, which would interest clients and customers, such as new products coming up on progress being made on some project.
IV) MICROBLOGS:
This is a new type of blog where one can post concise comments that others can follow Twitter is the best example of a microblog where one only posts 280 characters with each entry called a tweet. The entries become a running commentary about one's life and interest. While blogs cause no destruction on several characters or words for a post, a microblog generally limits a post to a certain number of characters example, 140 characters is the limit for a post on Twitter.

Advantages and disadvantages of blogs:
All the blocks prove to be a handy tool for individuals, companies, newsmakers, etc.; even microblogging has become very popular in the past few years. But there are some disadvantages also associated with blogging.
