The "G20" stands for "Group of Twenty." It is an international forum of major economies consisting of 19 individual countries and the European Union. These countries come together to discuss and coordinate various economic and financial policies on a global scale.

The G20 New Delhi summit, which will take place between September 9th and 10th, 2023, is the eighteenth meeting of the G20. The event is being held at Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The G20 summit has been held in both India and South Asia for the first time.

The G20 presidency is currently held by the country, which is rotated annually among the member nations.

G20 Summit 2023 member countries represent about 85 percent of global gross domestic product (GDP), more than 75 percent of global trade, and about two-thirds of the world population, so this group and the summit are of great importance to the world.
