The space rock, which has a circle bigger than Earth's, will come as near the planet as 270,000 miles. The moon is 238,900 miles from Earth.

As per NASA's lab, the space rock - 2023 HV5 - is 41 feet in size.

The space rock is moving at around 8.9 kilometers each second, or 5.53 miles each second, as indicated by the office's estimations.

HV5 isn't the main space rock to pass Earth generally close by this week.
