That is why I wrote the book, to show current science and technology advances that can be used to create an actual suit that looks something like the Man of Steel. I used work by researchers at a number of universities and research institutions to explain how various aspects of an actual Iron Man suit could function. When it comes to the Man of Steel, a lot of aspects of an Iron Man suit are viable, but so are many aspects that bend or violate scientific rules altogether.
In all fairness, we would still love a Marvel movie even if the Iron Man suit started performing magic spells, but just like how Iron Man cannot stop messing around, we cannot ignore that the holes in the suit are scientific. Tony Stark might impress everyone with his science-savvy when building the Iron Man suit, but it has a few obvious problems. Unless Tony Stark has worked in some advanced, shock-absorbing material in the suit he is never talked about, the Man of Steel is supposed to suffer from way more broken bones and concussions than he is ever shown onscreen.
To prevent people from knocking each other over, Tony Stark uses the Iron Man suit to electrify their arms, which he claims prevents them from opening their hands. Obadiah Stan proceeds to take hold of Tony Stark and uses the immense power of his suit to overwhelm Iron Man, who uses his flash bangs to briefly blind Stan within the suit, and Iron Man is only able to escape with the prototype Iron Man. Eventually, Obadiah Stan caught up with Tony Stark, then Iron Monger used his entire suit's the power to crush the armor, mocking Stark while doing so, however, when Stark mentioned whether Stan had fixed the icing issue in the suit that he had discovered during testing the Mark II.
Throughout the battle with Iron Man, Obadiah Stan continually stated how he enjoyed prototyping powers, caused mayhem, and carelessly ignored human lives or injuries, saying that they were just collateral damage. Using his knowledge and expertise in technology and science, he built the costume, which would ultimately battle the Red-Golden Avenger, Iron Man, to benefit humanity. Ammonium, an iron alloy with amazing strength, was developed at Stark Industries, sector 16, especially using the prototype.
You might have expected that a suit like this would have been developed in the weapons industry, first, use by armies. There is that nanotechnology within Mark 50s suitcase, but it would be cool to see, as with Extremism comics, a suit coming from Stark's, body (but obviously, the potential Iron Man 4 movie may not involve Stark's, for obvious reasons). The Iron Man suit is believed to be possibly stolen by the crime gang Super villains, who are planning on using this powerful, proprietary technology to rule the world.
One could go as far as saying that what defines the story as a humanistic endeavor is a conviction that it is not subject to scientific laws--that the working parts of human society are not like pool balls, that when placed at particular angles and struck with certain amounts of force, they invariably break right in place and roll toward the corner pocket of war, or the side pocket of peace.
