What I have learned about myself through special children

For many of us, being a special parent means constant literacy. You need to learn how to interact with the child and understand his gestures and thinking. In addition, you need to know how the service system works and where you can get help and support in various situations. Perhaps the most satisfying task yet is tonal literacy.

Probably all parents learn a lot about themselves through their children. Everyone will surely have to face their bad sides and their loving characters to one degree or another. Suddenly, he finds himself following the gesture patterns adopted in childhood by his own parents, despite the fact that even before I had children, he swore that at least I would not act as a parent.

The fact that we are similar to our parents says a lot about the fact that we are basically similar as people. This picture is worth coming to you. However, I've recently come to realize the fact that special children have actually given me more knowledge than I otherwise could have. Below I will present three effects that I think I have learned from special children.

 1. Own atypicality

It is easy to imagine that I am so normal, and everyone around me is different, either strange or thinks the same way as I do. It seems special when you notice that in numerous effects, this is the strangest creature itself. When I imagined my ageless gestures in psychotherapy, we mean that it reminded me of my childhood, and on the other hand, I still show Asperger's type of autism in some effects.

I have no intention of seeking an opinion or less proof of this as I got better without it and my symptoms were never truly severe. I've been developing effective coping strategies since I was a child, so it's likely that my special traits have turned into strengths.

So what does it look like? Well, from a very young age, I endured the feeling of dissatisfaction and learned to convey the effects in some way, unlike many others. Indeed, in small effects, I sometimes notice how my way of handling information and feelings, attachment to social situations, and directing my attention to effects resemble typical habits associated with Asperger's syndrome, even at my pre-age. It's exciting enough!

 2. Learning is like a miracle

What is being learned and how is it done? I explore this issue not only as a mentor to my children but also as a community mentor and judge-coach. In theory and practice, I know relatively well how individual and different the wonders of literacy are, but the thing is still

a fascinating mystery.

At least I've learned from the way neuroscience kids process information that, for example, the traditional style of training in the academy or the active practice of repeating techniques in judo do not inevitably lead to any literacy problems, although the same types win. race and understand the number of drugs. On the other hand, there are those for whom reading and speaking-based lectures are a stroke of literacy.

However, it is not surprising that there is literacy If our ingenuity is individual. Literacy is, by its very nature, a voluntary morbid-physical-social process in which everyone must work out the paths most suitable for themselves. I got better access to my own ways of literacy by learning from special children. I encourage all mentors and instructors to do the same.

 3. About humanity and the good life

The main thing is that the child is healthy. This is what I allowed when our first children were still small. I recently corrected my position. The main thing is not necessarily health, although this is welcome. Sometimes you can deal relatively well with a variety of life-limiting conditions and traumas. The main thing is not to succeed and not to acclimatize in society, although we asked ourselves this question.

For me, the main thing is that the child grows up to be a good person. And by a good person, I mean a person who knows how to appreciate another person and the nature around him. Being a good person does not always depend on knowledge or skills. However, one cannot acquire less skill and understanding, If one can appreciate the world and the creatures living in it since they are at the same time in a transient connection with It. For me, this is a good move.

And I learned all this through special children.
