The rainy season was over with its beauty and delicious fruits. The leaves of the trees were falling fast and winter was coming. A little bird had made a nest on a guava tree. The bird's name was Abel, and its young lived in this nest. But when they grew up, one day they flew away without telling Abel and never came back. Little Abel was already sad because of them. Then, when winter came, the other birds hid in their nests. Now the guavas were almost gone from this guava tree, only one and a half guavas were left. There were some big ants in the trunk of the guava. Abel used to sit on the branch all day and watch these ants. Whenever the ants ran out of rations in the winter, they would come to Abel to ask for guavas. Abel would cut the pieces of guava and throw them down so that they would not have to be picked up and taken down and these ants could easily pick up the pieces of guava and crawl into their burrows. Abel was friends with some big ants. Kenny, Minnie were included. It had been very cold for the last several days. Abel could not see any birds. She was very sad. Her heart wanted to talk to a friend, but no one could find her to talk. She thought. Let's meet Jenny, Kenny and Minnie. If I talk to them, nature will be happy. Hable came down and came out of the ants' burrow and started making noises. Jenny, come out, Kenny, I am Hable. But they were all lying in their warm beds, enjoying the accumulated summer fruits and nuts. They all remained silent, no one came to listen to her. Many days passed. Abel was getting weaker. No one came out. For a month, heavy fog and cold had imprisoned people in their houses. Some people did not even go out for fear of diseases. Poor Hebel was so cold and sad that she couldn't get up and walk. She didn't want to eat anything. Then one day when the ants ran out of food, she got out of bed to feed them. Search for, but outside the storm rain had accumulated water everywhere. The water even got into the ants' burrows and their food was spoiled. The ants ran outside with their feet on their heads. Now she hurried to the nest and called out to Abel, but there was no answer. Jenny looked up and saw that she had fallen upside down. The three of them went inside and straightened her, but she was lying unconscious because Abel was dead. She had a few pieces of guava lying around. Then they thought that maybe Abel had brought them food that day. But they didn't get up from the warm bed and listen to Abel. Now they were all crying. All the other ants were climbing the tree because there was all the water below. Together they took refuge in Abel's nest. But now she was very sad about how good Abel was. She used to give them food. Now even when she died, she sheltered everyone. But when Abel was sad, they didn't even want to listen to him. Oh God! Forgive us ... We didn't help our friend in his troubles. But now he had no choice but to cry. Save him! The old or the poor don't need your help so you don't have to regret it.
