An eastern state of Baghdad was ruled by a king of the Barmaki dynasty. He built a magnificent palace for his residence. The king was known to never leave his door empty-handed. He was sympathetic to the poor. One day a poor man came to the door of the palace. He had torn clothes on his body. His condition showed that he had been hungry for many days. The main door of the palace was open. There were many guards standing at the door. Faqir said to the guards: Have mercy on me. I have not eaten for many days. Now it is becoming difficult for me to take a step forward. Then Faqir looked at the door and wall of this magnificent palace and said: “Who is the owner of this magnificent palace? Surely he will be very rich. Tell me his name. The guard looked at the poor man carefully and said: Who are you and where did you come from? It is very surprising. You do not even know that this is the palace of the Burmese king. The most intelligent of Baghdad. Is a wise and wealthy ruler. The poor man listened to the guard and said: "Yes, I have heard about the king. He is a true sympathizer of the poor." Watchman sir! Give me a silver coin, that I may buy bread for myself. I am dying of hunger. The guard said to the poor man: If you are hungry, why don't you go inside the palace? No one will stop you. My master is also inside. Meet him and ask for help. He will surely help you. Faqir was happy to hear this and thanked the guard and went inside the palace. The king was sitting on a magnificent and beautiful throne inside the palace. He had seen the poor man coming in. The poor man was moving slowly in fear. The prince was watching him carefully. Finally he said: Don't be afraid, let's go Come on. We welcome you. Tell me what's up Faqir went beyond literature and bowed before the king and said: "My lord! I am a poor Ami. I want your help. I have been hungry since morning. I have not got any food yet." The king listened to him carefully. He listened and then immediately clapped and shouted: "Anyone? Bring me a pot and some water." We and our guest will wash our hands before eating. The poor man turned around and saw who was fetching water, but no one came, but the king was pretending that water had come and he was washing his hands. Was Then the king said to the poor man: "Dear guest! You wash your hands too!" What the king had done was to wash his hands of lies. Now the king clapped his hands again and gave another order: "Anyone? Hurry! Bring food for us and our guest. Don't be late!" No servant came and did not eat, but the king was pretending to be in front of them. The table has been laid out and food has been placed on it. Then the king began to moan as if he were eating. He also said to the poor man: "Come, friend! There is no need to bother. Eat as you eat in your house. You said." You have been hungry since morning, but you are not eating. Why? ”Faqir said in his heart:“ I wish there was something to eat here! ”Then he said loudly:“ My lord! I am eating well. ”After that he also started running fast. But there was nothing in his mouth, so his gums began to show. The king kept insisting on the poor man not to bother. He would never tell the poor man that he had not eaten it. So you didn't take it. Sometimes he would say what is the matter with this narcissistic meatball! Sometimes he would say that biryani is not the answer. Several times in between, the king called a fictitious and imaginary servant and asked him for specially fictitious and imaginary food and fed him to the poor with great insistence. The poor man continued to fill his stomach with imaginary food. It is a different matter that rats were really running in his stomach. After the meal, the king asked for fictitious and imaginary fruits and berries for his distinguished guest (faqir) and fed the faqir himself. He fed walnuts, almonds, chickpeas, mangoes, apples all to the poor man and he belched as if his stomach was full. The poor man tried to belch in his manner, but his voice did not come out. At last, when the jaws of the poor man were eating the fake food, he retreated and retreated and said to the king: "Holy Prophet! Thank you very much! The king laughed out loud when he heard the words of the poor man. He stopped his laughter with great difficulty and said: "I have been looking for a man like you for a long time." Putting his hand on his shoulder, he said with great tenderness and love: "You are a kind-hearted and noble man. I was looking for a friend who has all these qualities." There is patience and endurance in you. I am very happy with the patience and calmness with which you supported me till the end. A hungry person lacks patience, restraint and endurance, but you have proved it. Given that even a hungry person can have patience, restraint and endurance. From today we are both friends. You will stay with me in my palace and now I will arrange a grand feast for you. ”Then the king clapped. Immediately many servants came there. The king ordered them. "Our dear guest, take our friend, bathe him, dress him in the best clothes and arrange a special feast for him." "Shortly afterwards, the poor man was sitting at the king's table with the king in his royal robes. This time he had real food in front of him. The two friends were eating and laughing.
