There are so many faith issues in my life that I have solved or overcome. I have written below about some of these issues.
1. Bold patch
2. My height
3. My weight
4. Stuttering
5. Lack of self-confidence in myself
6. My career
Bald patch
Although this may seem like a small thing to some, I was born with bald patches the size of ten pence pieces. As I went through childhood and especially adolescence, I became more self-conscious and insane about it.
This is especially noticeable when it rains or when I go swimming because my hair is wet. People at school make fun of me and I always try to hide and cover up even though most people know about baldness.
It hurts when people look at me and laugh 'and' I finally stop swimming.
My height
Of all my closest male family and friends, I was the shortest at 5 feet 4. Although people constantly despise me, it probably does not affect my faith. I am called by many names, the best being "small".
I'm always jealous of people who are taller than me. I hope to one day recover. It never came.
My height with the sport impressed me. I wanted to be a striker in football, but coaches only wanted people who were more than 6 feet tall. I have to use the rest constantly in snooker, which makes it harder to play to the best level 'and' I am constantly lobbying in tennis. This means that I was only comfortable dating 5 feet 3 women and significantly reduced the market available under it.
My weight
I used to be very thin in senior school. This may have happened because my parents became vegetarians at the age of twelve. There were very few alternative foods at the time 'and' it seemed like we went from eating meat and two vegetarians to just two vegetarians.
When our parents were cooking, I had no choice but to become a vegetarian. A few weeks later, I contacted him and told him I had lost it and wanted to eat meat. He understood somewhat and said:
"If you want, you have to cook"
At this age I had trouble cooking properly for days a week 'and' it gradually subsided.
At school, I was called by names like skin, **** and my weight became another crazy zone for me.
Hesitant
At the age of four, I started to stutter. Although I told my parents I was going to be an adult, it gradually got worse as I got older.
It has become a constant battle for the masters to classify as simple tasks as reading from a book in school, answering questions, saying my name and address, ordering items in a bar or restaurant and talking on the telephone.
This is a very frustrating obstacle, because I can talk very easily with people I know well 'and' I feel comfortable with, but at other times especially any kind. Could not speak a single word under pressure.
After nearly eleven months of hard work and practice, at the age of twenty-two, I have been able to overcome relaxation 'and' now I am helping others who stutter as well as help those with confidence issues. Huh.
My lack of faith
I never had faith in certain areas.
For example, I see a woman in a bar and I want to go to her and talk to her, but I have a negative attitude that I am not good enough, why is she interested in me? I was hesitant, I was bald, I had a small job 'and' I was very thin.
If I consult her and succeed, I expect her to buy a drink, maybe call her, maybe visit her parents and maybe even get married. I do! The idea of doing these things was very difficult for me due to stuttering and lack of social confidence.
At the age of sixteen, I dropped out of school mainly due to lack of confidence and stuttering, but had trouble finding a job. My unbelief lit up again. Who would want to hire someone who is stupid, insecure and shy in front of people?
My future
I dropped out of school at the age of sixteen and now have to look for a job. Working on the phone or having frequent conversations with other people is not really an option due to stuttering and general lack of self-confidence.
I decided I could probably file duties in the office and eventually got a position in an insurance company.
I started, with the lowest grade, grade two, and the work was simple and mundane. The average time to be at this level before promotion is six months. The phone was shared on a grade three post and it seemed so hard for me to get used to it.
To upgrade, you must apply in writing to a personal, officer and be promoted after passing the interview. If I do not apply I will be in grade two, well that is my attitude I wanted. I'm probably the only person in the country who does not want to be promoted.
Our boss would ask me at regular intervals why I was not applying 'and' I would give an excuse. To keep him happy, I took an insurance test. Three years later, I completed the first qualifying set of five exams. I was horrified when our boss complimented me by saying he was upgrading me to grade three from Monday without any interviews.
This promotion really boosted my confidence, but due to my lack of relaxation control and the stress caused by some of my co-workers making fun of me, I fell further back and became depressed.
I am invited to social events and make excuses as to why I could not go because I have the confidence and all the socialization involved to be able to face this situation...
