What foods recommended for diabetes?

   Diabetic patients must eat these foods in their daily diet.

Brewer's Yeast:

   Brewer's yeast is a wonderful food.  It is rich in chromium minerals.  This mineral helps, the pancreas to produce more insulin.  This is a great support for the body to deal with sugar normally.  Dr. Richard J., who appeared in the Medical World News.  According to an article, Brewer's yeast has reduced the insulin requirements of many diabetics.

Broccoli:

   Broccoli is a close relative of cauliflower, has long been a popular food in Europe.  This vegetable has proven to be an excellent anti-diabetic food.  It is a rich source of chromium, a trace mineral that lowers blood sugar.  This trace mineral regulates blood sugar, thereby often reducing the need for medication and insulin for diabetes.  In patients with mild diabetes, chromium can prevent the onset of complete disease.  If a person's glucose tolerance is at a limit, chromium can help control it.  Chromium can bring even low blood sugar levels back to normal.

Yogurt:

   Yogurt stimulates pancreatic friendly bacteria in the digestive system.  It also washes the pancreas of its acids, and wastes.  These purifying activities make the pancreas work better and thereby help in the production of insulin.

Garlic:

   Scientific experiments have shown that garlic and its components can lower blood sugar in diabetes.  This vegetable is rich in potassium, which effectively replaces the excess potassium lost in the urine of diabetics.  It also contains insulin components such as zinc and sulfur.  Some officials believe that low levels of zinc may be one of the causes of diabetes.  Pound also contains manganese, the deficiency of which can contribute to diabetes.

   Garlic components act by inhibiting the breakdown of insulin in the liver.  The result is an increase in the level of insulin in the blood and a decrease in blood sugar.

   Garlic has the other benefits for diabetes besides lowering blood sugar.  It prevents arteriosclerosis which is a common complication of diabetes and relieves the body of toxins.  Diabetics can take one or two cloves of garlic a day in any form, raw or cooked, or in capsules.  Garlic milk, made by adding four cloves of crushed garlic to 110 ml of milk, is a great way to take garlic.  However, the best way is to chew green garlic well in the morning.  

Bengali gram:

   Bengal's lentils, also known as chickpeas, are a widely used ingredient in Indian cuisine.  It is a valuable anti-diabetic food.  Experiments show that oral intake of Bengal lentil water increases glucose utilization in diabetics and the general population.  In a study conducted at the Central Food Technology Research Institute in Mysore, the insulin requirement of patients with chronic diabetes was reduced from 40 units to 20 units per day, which includes generous amounts of Bengal lentil juice.

   Patients with a restricted diet that does not strictly control carbohydrate intake but contains large amounts of Bengali lentil juice have shown significant improvement in their fasting blood sugar levels, glucose tolerance, and urinary excretion of sugar.

Ginger:

   Ginger is a widely grown vegetable.  Has excellent medicinal properties.  This vegetable has been used as a medicine for diabetes since ancient times.  Research has established that it contains insulin, a plant-insulin-like principle, which is beneficial in lowering blood and urine sugar levels.

Cantaloupe:

   Cantaloupe is an effective diet against diabetes and should be included liberally in the diet of a diabetic.

   Eating three or four cantaloupe juices daily in the morning on an empty stomach is more effective than eating fruit.  Cantaloupe seeds can be powdered and added to regular meals.  A decoction made by boiling chopped cantaloupe is just as effective as mixing its dry powder with liquid foods.

   Cantaloupe is rich in all the essential vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins A, B1, B2, C and iron.  Therefore, its regular use prevents many complications associated with diabetes, including high blood pressure, eye problems, neuritis and carbohydrate deficiency metabolism.

Black gram:

   Black lentils are the most expensive lentils in India.  It is a diet against diabetes.  Half a cup of sprouted blackcurrant juice, forms and an effective medicine for the treatment of mild type diabetes.  It should be taken once a day, for three to four months, with a controlled intake of carbohydrates.

   In severe diabetes, regular use of this compound is an effective supplement to other treatments.  It is also an effective health food to prevent complications caused by malnutrition in diabetes.  Sprouted whole black gram milk is also recommended for diabetics.

Groundnut:

   Groundnut is valuable in diabetes.  Eating a handful of peanuts daily for diabetics not only prevents malnutrition, especially niacin deficiency, but also checks the development of vascular complications.
