What factors should you consider while working hard towards achieving your dreams in life?

A dream is a thought about something that gives meaning to your life. Each of us has a dream or dreams. It may be a career, car, way of living, physical appearance and so on. Whatever it is, it is something that propels you to go on in life. This is because you greatly believe in it, and would like to achieve it.

Factors

Factors are things that determine how and when you get to your dreams. Every dream has determinants. These factors have the ability of controlling the general outcome of your dream These include:

Talent

Talent is a potential within you to carryout a given activity, even though you hve not been shown how it can be done, for example, singing, dancing and so on. Sometimes, talent itself needs to be polished to enable you achieve your dream and extend your opportunities in life. For example, if your innate is singing, you need the necessary training such as attending singing sessions, during music lessons at school. You can be part pf church choir. This can enable you to discover your real abilities as a singer and also identify the sort of direction you would like to take as a person.

Skill.

Skill is the agility in executing a task. Your skill in doing something is acquired over a period of time, through repeated execution of the same task. For example, you can become a skilled artist by continously drawing different pictures, while applying the elements of art such as perspective, distance. This is what you call practice. By practicising, you begin to understand and analyse how you can draw a picture with ease without trying too much.

Society.

Society is a group of people living togrther because they have something in common such as traditions, religion , or laws. As a dreamer, you are bound to be divided between  two societies. That is, the one you grew up in and the one you like to be part of. You may have grown up in a religious society that totally calls for humblieness in each and every aspect of your life, yet you would love to break into the fashion world. The fashion world requires its citizens to be edgy in a unique and sometimes provocative way. It may at times be disagreeable with the religious society. This means that you may have to defy one society, in prefefence for another. This is done with the aim of achieving your dream as a model. fashionista, or designer. You have to keep that at the back of your mind.

Demand

Demand is the need of a person to buy a good or service. The law of demand states that the higher the price of a good or service. the lower the demand and the opposite is true. But some sectors have shown hope by defying this law. For example, in sports, a good example is Cristiano Ronaldo. He does not come cheap, if you want him to be part of your football club, but some or many people still single him out. This is because he is not only taalented but also skilled. This all now comes down to quality. Quality achieved through hard work and dedication. That means that in regards to quality, the law of demand is; the higher the quality of a good or service, the higher its demand. Remember, price does not matter for those who have the ability to meet the cost price of a good or service.

Supply.

Supply is the total  amount of a specific good or service that is available to be consumed. The rate of supply may be affected by factors such as technological advancement. For example, a farmer who uses tractors(mechanisation) is able to meet his deadline in time for his supply, if that is his goal. Others include government policies, taxes and so on.

 Market.

Market is where goods or services are sold. The market of today has three levels and they are.

Local market  is where goods or services are bought and sold within the boundaries of a given country.

International market  is wheregoods or services are exchanged between two countries found within the same continent such as India and China.

Global market  is where goods and services are exchanged between two countries in different continents like India and Russia.

Current trends like crytocurrency and internet have made this possible and it is good to make use of them. This can widen your horizons beyond your expectations. Therefore, you need to take advantage of them as well to increase your possibilities and widen your marketing options too.

Knowledge

Knowledge is the amount of information that you have gathered about your area of interest. If you dream of being a recognised fashion designer, then that means that you may have to take a course that corresponds to get the necessary knowledge to enable you do so, carry out research , or you can seek guidance from someone who has been in the field for sometime, and is willing to share their knowledge with you. Again, the internet has made this possible, aside from the fashion schools in society today. Knowledge through education is very importantt. You can get a job inline with the course you took. On the other hand, you may be earning a living from a source that is different from the kind of education you attained, but you may encounter a situation that will reqire you to apply the knowledgeyou attained trough education, for example, the founder of KFC(Kentucky Fried Chicken) Colonel Sanders. He was not able to practise law throughout his life, but the knowledge he gained through education enabled him to strike good everlasting deals with his partners. This is because he knew where to make a stand, when singing a financial agreement.

Wisdom.

Wisdom is the ability to differentiate between what is right and wrong, especially as regards your dream. Say you re interested in becoming and being an actor. Do you know the right places to look such as the company you would like to work for, its criteria, your abilities as an actor? It would be wrong to take  a lead role, yet you are more suited to take up a support role. Wisdom is very important. The last thing you will ever want to live with throughout your entire life is regret.

Destination you are seeking.

This is the dream itself. Is it a car, career, love interest, or way of living? What catches your eye about your dream and steals all of your attention when you think about it? Lets say you would love to be a doctor. Does saving lives something you love, or being a doctor just sound good? Is it because someone else is doing it? The eye-catching facts can go along way in helping you achieve your dreams.

CONCLUSION

Every dream is possible. You need to be totally dedicated, if you want to achieve it.  Some bits of pain will be present themselves. You may realise your dream as quickly as possible, or it may take longer. Challenges will always be present, but you always need to find ways to overcome them. The will power is within you. There will always be factors that determine how and when you will get to your dream. They may be those that I have mentioned or haven't. But you need to identify them to ease the journey towards your dream. It somehow makes your journey to your dream easier.
