What Ebay website To Generate Traffic

If you are looking for a way to market your website 'and' you are not considering using eBay, you may be missing out on one of the best.      low-cost website marketing options. Let me explain

Everyone is looking for a way to generate target website traffic as low as possible, but it seems that most people are looking at an amazing website marketing tool that is already bookmarked in their browser - eBay. .

More than 65 million registered users on eBay are buying, selling and browsing all kinds of products. Just imagine, what if we (website owners) had a way of sending some of that traffic to our website? Well, we do 'and' we can do it very cheaply!

The key to achieving this is the eBay 'Me' page. The eBay Me page is a profile-like page that you set up for your eBay ID. When potential customers view your auction and your ID, they see a small 'I' icon graphic linking to your Me page. And it is important to note: you can link your page to your website.

Let’s see how this works with an example. Suppose you have a website that sells a course on how to make money using pay-per-click (PPC) search engines, 'and' you want to get traffic to this website from eBay.

A good way to do this is to create a short report on PPC ads that you can market on eBay. This report should contain useful information, but it should also pre-sell your main product - your PPC course - on your website. Your PPC report should be something you are willing to give or sell at a very low price, in the following example, you will sell it for 99 cents.

And then you need two more things: an attractive auction ad and an attractive Me page that sends visitors back to your website.

You are now ready to open your auction. The special auction you are going to create must be a featured plus auction, which means it will appear at the top of the auction list before the non-featured auction (regular auction). You will also want to bid Dutch auction, which means you can sell multiple items from the same auction. Posting on the featured plus auction costs about  $20.00, as well as other posting fees including Dutch auction fees of approximately $5 - $6. So your cost to sell such a low price report is usually around $26.00.

Now, I hate going over the statistics, because those statistics contribute a lot to the result, but I will throw out some specific scenarios where I experienced them.

If your auction title is attractive, you can get 100-300 visitors to your auction. I personally saw auctions selling home business information products that get 1500 visitors! Suppose you got 150. Of those 150, about 20% come to your website through your page, which works for about 30 visits, again in my experience.

Out of the 150 visits to your auction, you generate some sales for your report. If the auction copy is good, it is not uncommon to get 10% - 20% of the sale, especially in the 99 cents range, which will work for up to 15-30 purchases. Suppose you generate 15% of sales, which equates to 22 sales (round down).

Now compare everything. At the end of the auction, you spend $26.00 on the auction itself. You earned $22.00 on report sales. And you generated 30 website visits. If we do the math, you pay about 13 cents per visitor to the website ($26.00- $22.00 / 30 visits). Additionally, you have a copy of your report in the hands of 22 hot prospects (remember that your website pre-sells the PPC course). Could it be better? The answer is yes! I am conservative with these statistics. The fact is that you can really make money and drive traffic to your website with some practice / tweaking.

Interestingly, at the time of this writing, Overture is charging anywhere from $0.51 for the tenth place and  $2.55 for the No. 1 spot for the keyword "PPC". In our example, we generated 30 visits from 1 auction at 13 cents per visit. What if you have 10 or 30 such auctions?

True, I realized that this example does not fit everyone's situation, but you can apply it to some extent.

The principle is actually very simple:

1. Sell anything you can give or sell at a very low price related to your website. Information is the right product.

2. And then make sure your auction (and auction title) is very attractive - try to drive as much traffic as possible to your auction.

3. And then make sure your Me page takes visitors to your website (anything like another report can be provided for free).

Give it a try ... you need to tweak it here or there ... but the formula works...
