Before moving into the towering Antillia , Mukesh and Nita Ambani lived in Sea Wind, a 14-storey-building, where his brother Anil Ambani's family and mother Kokilaben also stay.

 Billionaire Mukesh Ambani is one of the richest man in the world and THE richest in Asia. Just as the Ambanis themselves, Mukesh and Nita's 27-storey tower they call home, Antilia, is famous! The plush South Mumbai home is one of the world's largest and most elaborate private homes, with helipads, swimming pool, health centre, garages for 168 cars , temples and what not!

 But where did Nita and Mukhesh live before shifting to Antilia around 10 years back? While the net worth and the plushness of Antilia is unmatched, Mukesh and Nita's not-so-humble abode prior to this was  Sea Wind, a building the family shared with Mukesh's brother and his wife's family, Anil and Tina Ambani. The two brothers, who were prepped to take over their father Dhirubhai Ambani’s empire, had a public falling out after his death in 2002. However, they used to be a close-knit family and before moving to that building , Mukesh used to stay in the same building as Anil and also their mother.

 But while Sea Wind was definitely no antillia , it was far from being "simple. Several media reports have mentioned that different members of the family occupied different floors of the building, which had 14 floors. The Ambani children also had their own floors, claim multiple media reports. While Mukesh and Nita moved to it with the kids, his mother stayed on at Sea Wind. According to a 2011 DNA.com report, Mukesh had moved to the building in August that year - so ten years back - after addressing some alleged Vastu dosh through a series of rituals and pujas.

 India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s not-so-humble abode It is named after the phantom island Antillia which is in the Atlantic Ocean. Reliance’s Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani are the owners of the second most expensive home in the world. The luxury house ranks right after Buckingham Palace. Situated in Mumbai’s Alt amount Road, it is a 4000-square-foot Xanadu. The house is designed by Chicago-based architects Perkins and Will, with the Australian-based construction company Leighton Holdings, as per Architectural Digest

  The Ambani’s erected a 27-floor building in the middle of South Mumbai. In the year 2014, the building was valued at a $2 billion, which roughly translates to Rs 200 crore. Did you a 600 member-strong-staff is employed to maintain the building ? The building has three helipads and overseas Mumbai’s skyline and Arabian sea. The luxurious property has been built to withstand an earthquake of even 8 Richter scale.

 The house has contained entertainment space, theatre, a grand entrance, massive living rooms, 6-floor car parking, and more.  The building is the home of Mr. Mukesh Ambani and his family. Touted as one of the world's most expensive residence, there is no access to this place for tourist.

 Why dont the move to the home when it is completed. They waited for a year to get in.  Even though their grand home was ready in 2010 and the house warming ceremony was held in November of the same year, the Mukesh Ambani family – wife Nita Ambani and three children, Isha Ambani (now Isha Piramal), Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani – moved to the building only in 2011.
