The total amount of stolen information is selling for millions of rupees on the Dark Web.  Depending on how much information is in a person's database, it can cost several thousand rupees.

In the age of modern technology, such information thefts are unavoidable.  Even some of the world's leading tech giant US government sites were hit by a computer virus earlier this year, and their data has been stolen.  Even last May, information was stolen from Big Basket, Flipkart, and Air India.  There have always been reports that so many millions of pieces of data have been stolen.  From time to time, we wonder what they will do with this information.  A similar suspicion has arisen for our Dowd of Common Man reader.

Usually, there is a suspicion of what kind of information is information such as internet information leakage or internet information theft.  We will keep giving each site information that is relevant to that site.  We would have used our name and email address in almost every area.  The most common types of information theft are name, email address, mobile number, and bank account information.  Our passwords are often not available with this information as it is a password-protected feature.

There is no point in dividing this information individually.  Many things can be done with our name, email address, mobile number, etc.  But not everyone who steals it knows how to use it.  Therefore, the stolen information is likely to sell for a total of several lakhs of rupees on the Dark Web.  Prices can range from a hundred rupees to several thousand rupees, depending on how much information is in a person's database.  Many will be willing to buy even for a price if our bank information is available, including our name and mobile number.

We can keep our information and create a fake social networking account, thereby trying to extort money from our circle of friends.  The chances of such stolen information being misused are numerous.  If you get its password along with our email address, that's it.  They can keep our entire internet life in their hands.  This is why they repeatedly advise you not to use the same password for every site.  This is because by using each password for each site, they will not be able to misuse sites other than that site even if someone finds the password for one place.
