MS Dhoni's new ride, the Jaguar F-Type sports car, is in the British Racing Green color and is a coupe model. This particular car is no longer available in the market. It is equipped with a 5000cc supercharged engine, delivering 443 horsepower and 580Nm of peak torque. The car also comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, Jaguar offered a more powerful all-wheel-drive version of this sports car, which generated 567 horsepower and 700Nm of torque.
Ratan Tata had an interest in this sports car
The most intriguing aspect is that MS Dhoni's newly acquired Jaguar sports car has a significant connection to the late Ratan Tata, who played a key role in its development. Tata himself was involved in this project and advocated for the inclusion of a sports car in Jaguar's lineup. He had a special fondness for the Jaguar F-Type and owned a red Jaguar F-Type S, which he had imported. Dhoni's F-Type is the updated version that followed Tata's model. However, production of the car has since been discontinued. The price of the Jaguar F-Type ranged from approximately ₹1.43 crore to ₹2.61 crore.
