Danish footballer Kristin Erickson fainted from a sudden cardiac arrest during a match at the European Championships last week, after which he spent three nights in hospital. Various tests are being performed.

Professor Sharma said that these symptoms do not appear most often in young people or 16 to 25 years. "Often, these symptoms don't start for 25 or 30 years."

Some of them can be treated or cured whenever a person is diagnosed with these symptoms, but some complications are incurable and cannot be cured.
