Hypothyroidism (low thyroid) is a hormone imbalance caused by the thyroid not producing enough thyroid hormone.
What Are the Symptoms of Hypothyroidism? The most common are fatigue and intolerance to cold. If everyone is wearing short sleeves and jackets, you most likely have a hypothyroid problem. Other common symptoms are mental instability or depression, muscle weakness and fatigue, poor memory, lethargy and headaches.
Still other symptoms are slurred speech, hair loss, cold hands and feet, constipation, pale thick skin, brittle nails, and swelling of the face and eyelids. And finally… excessive and painful menstruation, irritability and palpitations.
How to know?
You can ask your doctor to do a thyroid test and/or do the following simple self-test at home:
First, you need to sleep for a full night. (The test will not work if you have been lifted or went to the bathroom.) While awake, still in bed, take your temperature in your armpit. Do this and record temperatures 3 days in a row. A normal reading will be between 97.8 – 98.2 degrees Fahrenheit. A reading below 97.8 indicates hypothyroid activity. (A higher than 98.2 indicates hyperthyroid activity.) If you are menstruating, measure your temperature on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th days of your period.
Causal Effects
Effects that may contribute to hypothyroidism are thyroid and pituitary fatigue due to malnutrition and excess caffeine, sugar, alcohol, and other stimulants. Malnutrition, of course, does not mean a lack of food, but a diet of processed, unnatural foods that are not nutritious. Other environmental factors include consumption of fluoridated water, pesticides, and radiation.
Women Take Notes
One in eight women will develop hypothyroid problems in their lifetime. The condition usually occurs between the ages of 30 and 50 and along with the hormonal changes that occur at that time. As soon as you enter this age range, it is useful to be careful about this. By “just budding” you can save yourself from unnecessary suffering.
For this reason, regular use of a natural progesterone hormone cream such as Prosper in can be of great help.
- 2000 – 3000 mg. every day seaweed (algae is rich in iodine, B vitamins and folic acid) and/or
- L thyroxine, 500 mg. It is taken twice a day on an empty stomach, not with milk.
- Raw thyroid gland – available from your doctor.
- Proserpine for women, Prosper on for men. Learning the value of natural progesterone creams.
- 2000 mg. vitamin. C to support the adrenal glands
And as always, avoid stress, rest, enjoy life, eat healthy and enjoy all your disciplines every moment.
With a thyroid disorder, your body's cells and organs don't metabolize as fast as they should. The presence of excess acid only makes the problem worse. Your cells and organs will be flooded with the acid they need to eliminate, but your thyroid disorder will reduce their ability to deal with these acids. The acid, in turn, will perpetuate or worsen your thyroid disorder.
Adding more alkaline foods and minerals to your diet can help correct a thyroid disorder. You will find that your thyroid function will increase as your acid level drops. As a result, your body's metabolism will increase, and you will be able to further neutralize acids. The end result will be health, higher energy and a reduced risk of thyroid disorders.
