"I don't copy the answers given by ChatGPT but make assignments myself after verifying it from other platforms, because in many cases it is not fully reliable yet". Another student, on the condition of anonymity, said that due to lack of time, he made complete assignments from ChatGPT. However, it was not very good.
These new tools made with the help of artificial intelligence for assignments and other educational matters have worried the education experts all over the world, including in Pakistan.
According to the Urdu News, the Higher Education Commission is considering new challenges in the educational process due to ChatGPT. Meanwhile, OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, called AI Classic, on Tuesday introduced a tool that it claims can be used to generate artificial intelligence. Differences between material and human labor will be possible.
According to the company, the tool called 'AI Classic' will determine whether the text is written by a human or created with the help of an AI tool. Although this step is clearly taken in response to the criticism leveled by academics.
However, the company has clarified that the tool is currently not that durable. Also, a problem with this is that the tool will only evaluate writing based on a minimum of 1,000 words. But it is not useful for writing less words. For this purpose, we asked ChatGPT some questions and then submitted their answers to AI Classic to evaluate.
The first time, the ChatGPT, generated content was captured by the tool immediately, but the tool seemed a bit confused in response to the second question. According to a company called OpenAI, work is being done to improve this tool. And in this regard, the help of experts has also been sought. In this regard, researchers from Stanford University have also claimed to have introduced a tool before the company that made ChatGPT. According to experts, this tool will facilitate the capture of content created by various large language models, including ChatGPT.
Eric Mitchell, a PhD student in Stanford University's Department of Computer Science, wrote in a Twitter thread that ChatGPT and other similar tools make it too easy to write text that isn't necessarily correct. "People are concerned that this artificial intelligence-generated content will overwhelm everyone, so we've created a tool called Detect GPT to detect when this content is created by a learning model. However, the researchers claim that content created by other language processors, including GPT3, will be worked on in the near future.
