what Buying Folk Art Paintings

It has become my hobby to buy folk art paintings. I'm looking seems. I recently received a bunch of folk art paintings and  having trouble deciding which one to buy. There was a folk art painting by Rev. Howard, titled in 1944. This is a folk art painting painted in 1988. The smile on this picture is very attractive and makes me smile equally. I'm also really taken in by a folk art painting painted in October 1962 by painter Bill Dodge. The title of the painting is First Trolley to Van Nuys. The painting is on board and depicts the city center with all the people of the city. They are in the windows and on the street. The town market, bakery, Hotel Van Nuys, an ice cream parlor and Wing Lee laundry are all displayed in vibrant . The women in the foreground are against the trolley and their signs say "Ban the Monster" and "Keep Van Nuys Villager". Thomas Chambers is one of America's foremost folk artists. I found a piece by him that I don't like very much. It's a bit too harsh for my taste. The theme is a fishing scene with villagers and boats. I don't think I will buy this folk art painting because I don't like it. I found a folk art painting called Alligator Fisher which was painted in 1940 which I really like. The blue of the bayou is very calming and the trees give it a very southern feel. The painting has a swampy house and I love it. It reminds me a lot of Louisiana. My mother started my passion for folk art paintings. Growing up in our parlor, she had a folk art painting by John Roeder. I used to spend hours just staring at it. The trees were so relaxing to lose themselves. I've asked her several times to give her this wonderful folk art painting, but she says I'll have to wait until after her funeral! I found a folk art painting during my travels, which made me sad every time I saw it. The name of the painting is A Letter from My Mother. How serious and sad is the expression on the girl's face. I don't know where this folk art picture should be hung. The painting itself is magnificent; It just makes me sad. There is a whole subset of folk art paintings that represent black America. I usually don't buy any of these pieces because they don't speak to my experience. I found a piece I bought for a collector friend of mine who loves this type of art. Folk art painting had a whimsical feel and a woman relaxing in a hammock. He hung it in his hallway and has been loving it for a long time. I will cook different types of dishes in my brother's century and will feed all the villagers, we will also be of then we all dance and have a lot of fun and never stopped and new, tired big, a bomb went off and Pattri was done in the night, never stopped again I've kept my eyes open for folk art paintings based on animals for my brother, but I haven't found any for him quite as good as the panther. Huge Range of Folk Art Paintings Based on Animals I recently saw a painting of two owls on a limb and I know they won't like it. Owls used to drive him completely crazy since we were kids.
