What are the validation for self-destruction?

You're grown up, have a cell phone and data, and generally want to be a better person, who doesn't?

So you're surfing the internet in your quest for information, and as you wade through the devastation, you come across complete strangers flaunting luxury, celebrating birthdays in posh backgrounds, displaying certifications and all sorts of winnings, and that "Oh my gosh" feeling? flows through your subconscious, you feel empty, you check your followers, it's less than 500, you feel disturbed in your soul and you keep asking God when?

It's normal to feel that way, but staying in a constant state of hopelessness is something you don't want to hold on to.

You also want to be seen celebrating or enjoying your time out, but you're not the type to post your escapades for pleasure, but you feel the need to do it because, yes, people do.

Most of the time you feel inadequate because you think not having these moments online is somewhat humiliating and you feel the need to impulsively put it out there, but hey, that's not you.

You love to soak up the moment, respect your privacy and enjoy yourself to the fullest. It's okay, and that's because it's your personality that can't be imitated in any form. That's who you are and it won't take away your own validation, which should be the benchmark instead of external validations.

Where I come from, some people won't attend meetings just because they can't afford the aso-ebi (selected event attire), some because they haven't bought a car yet, and some just because they feel inadequate. This is the second level of the validation seeking era we find ourselves in.

So we go through this cycle and in the long run, the most important aspect of human relationships is lost in the search for validation, you may even miss where the help was meant for you. The most unfortunate situation of all.

This thing called validation is first and foremost a search for yourself, it's not you, it's a bit of an impostor syndrome that makes you feel like you're not up to date or on task.

For some reason, most of those who seek online validation are just showing off, while deep down they aren't necessarily happy, and secondly, all those happy-go-lucky pictures you see online are prone to cyberbullying. .

There are people who are genuinely rooting for your success and happy to see you win, and there is no other way to join other than your online posts, so we also have nasty people, whether they know you or not, who are just looking for an opportunity to make bad comments to any post no matter how truly happy or fulfilled you are when you make your fortune online they are killing joys and have sent many into depression with your vile comments. They are not happy, so they see no reason why you should be satisfied with your achievements.

Validation, as essential as it is to your self-esteem, should be an inside job. Never wait for someone to dictate what makes you happy or not.

You are a product of your own choices and you may never know who you inspire with your posts or gestures.

Don't let anyone by your actions whether online or offline suggest how to celebrate or not celebrate your wins or otherwise because as you move forward in life you have to be convinced by your actions and know that you are enough and no one will add or take away from you you either mourn or celebrate who you really are.
