Eye tension, or intraocular tension, must be taken into account when ensuring the correct health of our eyes. Eye strain depends on several factors, e.g., age, genetics, eye diseases, or the use of certain medications. The eyes are the most sensitive part of our body, and if the eye strain triggers a lot, it will produce glaucoma. So it is essential to check your eyes and take your proper medical treatment if the eye strain becomes severe. Eye irritation can feel very unpleasant, but the condition is not severe and usually disappears by resting the eyes. Even if you can't reduce your working hours to the display terminal or remove other eye irritation factors, you can still do many things to avoid problems.
The pressure exerted by our eyes can produce several symptoms:-
- Difficulty in vision and especially in focusing in the dark
- Redness of the eye
- Decreased peripheral vision
- Blurred or blurred vision
- Nausea, dizziness, and even vomiting
- Headache
So if you are having these effects in your eye, you can avoid them by taking precautional steps, which I will discuss in this article.

When people spend a lot of time concentrating on digital devices, their blink rate gets reduced up to 66% on average. It can result in dry, itchy, or burning eyes, which can irritate your eyes in the long run.
When you get in the morning, the first thing you desperately notice is finding your smartphones. We often feel that we need to get a phone in our hands to check likes on Instagram, how many people tagged you, friend's WhatsApp status, etc., or it can be some other important work. But still, you have to avoid this to remove eye strain while opening your eyes in the first 5 minutes.
Steps to take care of your eyes in this digital age:-
1.Adjusting the brightness of your device.

It would help if you considered changing your device brightness from bright white to cool grey or permanently using the dark mode. In most of today's applications, we find dark mode and in the latest browsers too. So consider choosing the dark method instead of bright white, which can affect your eyes.
2.Position your screen to minimize glare

So you always try to position your device to minimize glare in your eyes.
Do not tilt it upwards.
Try to use tilt comfortably and tilt according to eyes convenience.
Don't try to gaze at one thing continuously.
3.Follow the 20|20 rule

This rule states that take a 20-second break every 20 minutes and try to look at something that you think is 20 feet away from your eyes.
This rule, when applied effectively, can lessen your eye strain resulting in better eye vision.
4.Increase your text size

Try to increase the size of your text to make it easier for you to read the stuff.
If you try to read a small text in size, it produces strain in our eyes, affecting your eyes; always try to avoid this and apply big fonts in messaging and other work applications.
5.Don't forget to blink your eyes

Constantly blink your eyes often while watching.
Blinking helps in lubricating your eyes so that they can stay moist and healthy.
Without blinking, your eyes can become itchy and dry, affecting your eyes while watching the videos.
So blink right now if you are reading my article and stay healthy and happy.
