What are the common symptoms of early pregnancy?
We may define pregnancy as the period from conception to birth when a woman carries a developing fetus in her uterus.
Here are some of the common symptoms of pregnancies among women.
Symptom 1:Missing the period is one of the most common signs and indications of pregnancy, but the following are the exceptions for the missing period.
Exception: Late or missed periods may also occur due to stress, illness, and weight fluctuations, and missing periods can also be a symptom of polycystic ovary syndrome. This is a condition in which periods can occur months apart.
So you have to observe and examine the other symptoms also to confirm the pregnancy.
Symptom 2: You may feel the tenderness and tingle from early pregnancy as the breast changes in size and feel immediately after the conception. The breasts begin to enlarge to get ready for breastfeeding for the baby after the delivery. Even some women claim that the breasts become sensitive and experience a very sharp and twinkling sensation.
Symptom 3: Nausea and vomiting are the most common pregnancy symptoms, customarily seen among women, which is called morning sickness. Morning sickness is also experienced by most pregnant women, even in the 5th and 6th weeks of the pregnancy. Morning sickness starts as early as two weeks of pregnancy, but the degree of nausea and vomiting may differ from woman to woman. Most pregnant women experience tiredness and fatigue.
Symptom 3: Frequent urination is also one of the standard features among pregnant women within 2-3 weeks after consumption due to increasing the size of the uterus for the baby and reducing the size of the bladder .
Symptom 4:You feel the drastic change in the taste and smell is also most common symptoms resulting in craving for certain foods and start hating certain other types of food this is due to excess release of progesterone hormone and commonly this symptom may disappear after a period of 3 to 4 months, and you may start eating healthy.
Symptom 5:Fatigue or tiredness is expected in early pregnancy. This is likely caused by the massive increase in the progesterone hormone, and the progesterone is needed to maintain the pregnancy and help the baby grow.
Note All the above symptoms, though, usually confirm the pregnancy. A clinical test is an ultimate proof.
TESTS FOR CONFIRMING THE PREGNANCY:
Test 1:One can confirm pregnancy by conducting the small home pregnancy test by detecting the HCG level in the urine. If the result is positive, you need to make an appointment with your family doctor to confirm the pregnancy and start the follow-up.
Test 1: A blood test can also be made that may give positive or negative results, usually conducted when there are apprehensions of miscarriage or unusual pregnancy. After 4 to 6 weeks, the obstetrician can confirm the pregnancy by a physical examination. The thickening of the vaginal tissues and softening of the uterus confirm the pregnancy.
