What are the symptoms of cholera? Know home remedies

Cholera is an epidemic caused by ingestion of contaminated food or water. The victims of this disease are more people who do not pay attention to their food and drink. By the way, let us tell you that cholera disease is spread by bacteria called Vibio cholerae. It spreads in late summer or early rainy season. If it is not treated at the right time, it can prove to be fatal.

CHOLERA

Due to cholera-

 

1. Use of contaminated food and contaminated water, milk and milk products, cut fruits, vegetables, etc. is the cause of cholera disease.

 

2. Being in contact with a sick person, walking with him, eating and drinking, sleeping or using his clothes, utensils, comb, etc., is also not right for a healthy person. This can cause cholera.

 

3. The flies bring the bacteria by sitting on the excreta through their legs, wings and other organs and contaminate it by sitting on uncovered food items. Therefore, never use food on which flies are sitting.

 

4. Raw or undercooked food or fish can also cause cholera.

1. In this the patient starts having diarrhea. The appearance of diarrhea is thin like a lump of rice.

 

2. The patient feels excessive thirst, urination stops.

 

3. The patient becomes weak on seeing. The eyes sink inwards, pain and stiffness starts in the hands and feet.

 

4. The body starts cooling down and the amount of water becomes very less.

 

5. In this the patient starts vomiting. There is a lot of water in the vomit, this vomit is white in colour.

 

Common and home remedies for cholera

 

1. After an hour and a half, after an hour and a half, after heating twenty grams of onion juice, add a little salt and give it to the patient.

 

2. Grind one gram asafetida, one gram camphor and two green chilies and make tablets like gram. Give two tablets of this to the patient thrice a day with cold water.

 

3. Grind two pieces of garlic with lemon juice and give it to the patient.

 

4. Make a solution of salt-sugar-water and give it. Apart from this, salts are supplied to the patient by drinking electrolytes.

 

5. To stop diarrhea and vomiting in cholera, grind some neem leaves and mix them in a cup of water and drink.

 

6. Drink raw coconut water frequently.

 

7. Give half a cup of mint juice in cholera after every two hours.

 

8. Mix equal quantity of mint and lemon juice in onion juice. Then after ten minutes keep giving one spoon each.

 

9. Grind basil leaves and black pepper and give it to the patient in the form of chutney or dissolve it in water.

 

ayurvedic treatment of cholera

 

1. Make a decoction of nagarmotha, nutmeg and black pepper and give it to the patient after a while.

 

2. Thirty mint leaves, four black peppercorns, two pinches of black salt, two roasted cardamoms, one tamarind ripe one choi – make a chutney by putting all these things in water. Give this chutney to the patient to lick it again and again.

 

3. To remove spasm of the body, grind bitter coot and copper in mustard oil and apply it all over the patient's body.
