💠💠💠💠💠💠 ▪️ * Symptoms and treatment of chicken pox *

Chicken pox is very common in children and most people experience it at some point in childhood.

سبب * Reason: *

Chicken pox is a viral disease caused by the "varicella zoster virus". The disease is treated by the body's own immune system. Once infected with the disease, the body's immune system becomes aware of it and provides immunity for a lifetime, meaning that chicken pox usually does not occur a second time in life.

▪️ * Symptoms *

Measles caused by chicken pox is obvious. Due to this, the grains filled with the discharge cause severe itching and can appear anywhere on the body. Other symptoms include fever, fatigue and body aches.

علاج * Treatment *

Chicken pox can be treated at home for most children. The goal of treatment is to reduce the symptoms of chicken pox.

The most obvious symptom is severe itchy measles. Measles gets better in about a week. But it can take weeks for the skin to clear. To reduce the itching caused by this, the child may be given "antihistamine" medicine which is available from the pharmacy. Various antihistamines are available. Some of them are drowsy which is better for children in chicken pox as it will make it easier for them to fall asleep. The most famous of these is the "chlorophenamin" syrup.

Cooling creams and lotions are also readily available for skin application, the best of which is "calamine lotion".

Keep children's hands clean and nails short so that itching does not spread the infection to the grains.

Dress children in open and comfortable clothes.

Another obvious symptom of chicken pox is fever. Give the child "paracetamol" (Calpol or Panadol) for fever. Drink plenty of water and ask to rest.

▪️ * Note *

Avoid the use of ibuprofen (Neurofen). Ibuprofen reduces fever and pain, but its use during chicken pox is not good for the skin. So use only paracetamol.

▪️ * Note ... *.

For babies under one month of age or people over 12 years of age, the disease can be more dangerous and can have lasting effects. In addition, if the child has any other illness, chicken pox can be dangerous. So it is better to see a doctor. Doctors can prescribe "antiviral" medicine to treat it.

▪️ * Save others ... * ▪️.

Chicken pox is an epidemic that can spread to others. It is spread from person to person through the air. It can spread from two days before the onset of measles to 5 days after the onset of measles. In the meantime, keep children at home and prevent them from going to and from school

Chickenpox is a very contagious infection caused by the varicella-zoster virus. It mainly affects kids, but adults can get it, too. The telltale sign of chickenpox is a super-itchy skin rash with red blisters. Over the course of several days, the blisters pop and start to leak. Then they crust and scab over before finally healing.
