Education being online is great! You can also study a wide range of the latest subjects. But, today it lacks huge factors (this is especially for the majority of the population that do not become entrepreneurs):
The online courses now became an important part of learning for the people in Pakistan at least people take online courses to improve their current skills, sometimes for a promotion, a job, or even the knowledge itself. Platforms like Online Course Era, Udacity and more are attracting knowledge seekers from all over the world. Their collaboration with well-known universities like MIT, Delft, Virginia, is opening a new gate way to quality education. People himself do various courses online, not only educational but related to passion also. The important fact is that most of online courses in Pakistan are taken by the graduate and post graduate students/pass outs so right now mostly the people with higher An educational institution wants to add an X factor to its portfolio.
Ideally, some problems in the online course are real, and the rest are those of the person who actually does it.
The first problem is that the majority of the country's population does not have sufficient internet support. So it's hard to think of an online course that lasts an average of five weeks.
Second among them is student’s syndrome: The tendency to procrastinate the work till the deadline dons come, results in half earned knowledge.
Third and finally, in my opinion, once a person gets it, there is a lack of willingness to take such a course. What he/she wanted to know in the subject he/she leaves the course in between, losing some other useful facts, This can never happen in a class where the final exam covers everything, whether you like it or not.
Well the solution to the last two problems are easy, be punctual to be motivated and remain inspired till you don’t reach to the end.
The first one needs a little government support as far as the brass section is concerned. Digital Pakistan is all about to increase Internets Outreach to every part of Country. I think we will be soon fine with internet too. Next, the online course changes the course of education.
In other hand, now a day’s online education is more common to students compared to older education system. Because there are a lot of advantages are waiting for students who wish to self-education. Variety of courses and programs are the main features of online education. Compared to normal education, the online educations have lower cost. More comfortable environment is the essential part of study because concentration is the main part of the studies. According to online learning, we can get more convenient and comfortable environment. More flexibility is another feature of online learning. Students can take online courses and even complete entire degrees while working, while in - between jobs, or while taking time to raise a family.
Online education is not for everyone. If, for you, the advantages and strengths outweigh the disadvantages and weaknesses, then it is probably right for you.
