Congratulations! You have a new baby! Now let's move on to serious matters. You are going to prepare yourself mentally and physically for your new baby, and you will need to adjust your home and car for the new baby too!
Mental preparation for the new baby
Remember, women are more likely than men to adjust to having a baby. Therefore, after the announcement of pregnancy, do not expect husbands to start fathering. They are not like that. Women are better mentally adjusted to the new baby, as they experience physical, emotional and psychological changes. These changes help them adjust quickly to the new baby.
Physically preparing for a new baby
A new father cannot do much to prepare a new child. What a father needs to do before his new baby becomes pregnant. However, after the new baby becomes pregnant, the new father may try to quit smoking, alcohol and other evils. The new mom needs to do the same.
New baby plan: home and car
With a new baby, depending on whether you plan to sleep with the baby or if you plan to keep the baby in a separate room, changes in your home can affect you. Either way, we recommend having a separate room for your new baby, even if the new baby is sleeping with the new parents for the first two months. A baby crib, some toys, a place to keep all baby's clothes, a place to take off easy-to-hold lotions, creams, diaper wipes, diapers, etc. near the changing table.
You will also need to think about getting a baby chair. Baby chair for the house (at the right height for the dining table) and a baby chair for the car (for travel). Some children's chairs can be adjusted to fit an adult dining chair and fit into a car at the same time. They are a bit more expensive than traditional baby chairs, but the multi-function is a very simple plus, it is very comfortable for your new baby.
Other essentials for your new baby
Honestly, the essentials depend entirely on your own preferences, budget and lifestyle. You can live without these things if you think you will not waste money.
If you have had your first child, you probably don't need too many new clothes. New babies grow their clothes very fast ,and spending money on new clothes would be a waste of money. You can also get hand me down from nieces and nephews if you wish. All you need is a blanket, sweater, coat, and outfit. At home, your new baby doesn't mind old clothes. In fact, it is a fact that your new baby will probably prefer old clothes to new ones. Feeding utensils such as baby bowls, breast pumps (if you are thinking of pumping breast milk for your new baby at work), baby bottles, cloth nappies, diapers, baby wipes, lotion, shampoo, bath Boxes, don't forget the towels. Baby blankets, baby beds, bibs, walkers, etc.Just take care of your baby if baby happy than happier you.
