Problems of Education in Sindh:
"Acquiring knowledge is compulsory for all" that is the quote of our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H). This quote motivates everyone to acquire the best knowledge from the available resources. In today's world, education spread far and wide and with the help of online education everyone achieves first-hand knowledge without any difficulty.
But unfortunately when we talk about the educational system of province of Sindh there is a lack of reliable resources. In government school there is no concept of latest education. Same syllabus of past some years revised again and again. There is no facility of basic needs of students such as the classroom and bathroom has no difference, both are full of dirt. There is no suitable furniture for the students. In the cities of interior Sindh, schools are used as milk shops or as for cattle farms.
Due to the corruption, whole educational department is destroyed. Teachers in government schools attend the school just for salaries because the pay ratio in government schools are much better than the private schools.
In private schools, the education system is much better, but their heavy fees can't be afforded by everyone and their teaching staff are worried about their low salaries according to their job requirements. Government have not any check and balance in private schools. Private schools have their own organization who can do their own decision according to their policies.
Secondly, there is no concept of online education in all the government schools of Sindh. In the pandemic condition of COVID-19, all the government schools of the province were closed. Students of that school's forgot about education and due to this passing ratio in board exams were very low instead of short and selected syllabus.
In other hand, the acquiring of government job is not an easy task. There is a huge list of formalities for the government jobs. And it took so many years in the confirmation of job and the schools of government are full of ghost employees who don't have any knowledge, and they have not any educational certificates. Due to corruption, eligible candidates whose not have enough money to purchase the seats in government jobs are hardly doing jobs in private schools with low salary package and many students move abroad for doing job according to their eligibility, and they spend their energy for the growth of abroad countries and our country still ranked with low literacy countries.
A man who can afford his basic needs from where he can afford the expenses of private schools and if he admits his child in government schools there is no any obstacle in destroyed of their child future with his on hands.
Conclusion:
In short, government should take necessary measures in the improvement of education in Sindh as well as for the appointment of newly educated teachers who are well aware with current and latest technologies and education. "Teachers build the nation" that's not just a quote, but it's a reality. Teacher plays a key role in building the moral values to the students of the nation and government should make some strategies for the betterment of our educational system because the ratio of literacy is very low in Sindh as compare to the other provinces.
